Have A Question On How I Did Something? PLEASE READ!

I love to share what knowledge I have. I'm finding it more and more difficult to respond to your questions because some of you are not leaving a way for me to contact you. I am not ignoring those of you who have questions, but the majority of the time no contact information is given so I am unable to respond to your inquiries. If you are serious about me answering the questions you ask and do not have a Blogger account with an email address linked to it, please leave your email address or email me with your question at knmic1012@aol.com and I will get back with you. If you email me, be sure to put "blog question" in the subject line so I won't think it's SPAM and delete it.

Forgive Me for Being a Bad Blogger...It Has Been a Heck of a Week!

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you have had a great week because someone had to do it and it sure wasn't me! It started with our A/C going out. Now that may not be a big deal to most of you with the cooling temperatures but here in Florida it is very humid and even with the temperatures in the mid 80's, it was hot and sticky enough to be miserable. Then...our Maltese, Charlee (mama's little princess as my husband refers to her) had an emergency trip to the vet. She was dazed and confused, pacing back and forth and panting like she was going to have a stroke. As it turns out, she is fine but it was touch and go for a few days. With my computer on, I sat in my craftroom working on a card, all of a sudden, the computer crashed...just shut down...no warning, it just shut down. I tried to turn it back on but NOTHING so after my husband checked the obvious, the battery, power supply, etc, it was going to require a trip to the Geek Squad or the purchase a new computer. We opted for the latter since my computer was 4 years old. With that being said, not being computer literate or familiar with Windows 7, it has been quite an adjustment for me. After having a conversation with my husband about receiving our new voters registration cards, I went to look for mine and not only unable to find it, my drivers license was missing! Tearing my purse and the house apart and racking my brain to think when was the last time I needed to show identification, I decided to get a replacement. Thursdays evening we got the dreaded call that we were expecting, my mom had passed away. Although expecting it, I'm still numb from the shock but take comfort in knowing she is in a better place, in peace and no longer suffering. This has been a very stressful week and I apologize for being a bad blogger but I hope to be back in the swing of things very soon and have a few cards to share with you, along with visiting my favorite blogs which I have been very lax. Til then, have a wonderful weekend, I hope to see you real soon.

So sorry to read of your loss. I know how you feel. My Mother in-law died Thursday. We were also expecting it. She was 96 years old. But it still was very hard to get that call. My heart goes out to you and your family. She is in a better place for sure.

I'm sorry Kelly about your Mom, it has to be so hard, as no matter what, a Mom is a Mom and noone can replace her, and though you knew it was coming, it is never, ever easy...my heart goes out to you!! Sorry you had such a bad week, it kind of sounds like a week I had last month...just take a deep breath and try and take care of "you" and we all will be thinking of you!!

Oh Kelly, you have earned the name Job this week, what a plate load you were delivered. You and your family are in my prayers as you adjust to the passing of your Mom. Even when expected it still leaves that little hole in the heart that takes time to mend. Hope your house is now cool, you are adjusting to new formats on that computer with pup at your feet, big hugs

Hi Kelly...Sooo sorry to hear about your Mom. We knew ours didn't have long but it still hurts when it happens. I, too, knew she was in a better place. You know the oddest thing - all of a sudden I started thinking about questions that only she could answer and I could no longer call her and ask her...I really miss that.

Sorry the rest of your week was so hectic. HOPEFULLY it all happened at once and you will have smooth sailing for a while.

Life can really suck sometimes. Sorry for your loss. It doesn't matter if she was 60 or 99, if you were expecting it or not, it's always difficult to lose a parent because you lose a part of you.
