Have A Question On How I Did Something? PLEASE READ!

I love to share what knowledge I have. I'm finding it more and more difficult to respond to your questions because some of you are not leaving a way for me to contact you. I am not ignoring those of you who have questions, but the majority of the time no contact information is given so I am unable to respond to your inquiries. If you are serious about me answering the questions you ask and do not have a Blogger account with an email address linked to it, please leave your email address or email me with your question at knmic1012@aol.com and I will get back with you. If you email me, be sure to put "blog question" in the subject line so I won't think it's SPAM and delete it.

More Christmas 2013

Good Morning Everyone! I know it has been awhile since my last posting...it's not that I haven't been crafting...I just haven't been blogging. Tsk tsk for me being a bad blogger...Tsk tsk for you coming on my blog without leaving a comment! With THAT being said...here's a few cards since my last posting. Awhile ago I had gotten this adorable penguin template from Mama Dina's blog but never did anything with it. We had taken our oldest grandson to Sea World to see the Antarctic Exhibit so I thought I'd turn the template into a shaped card. I added the string of lights and a hat...Aren't those eyes and feet too cute---
For the twins a quick little card using clip art I found online. With my Silhouette, it's a snap to do mirror image cards---

Not real happy with the way this card turned out. The dog and dog house, along with the tree is from the Silhouette online store that I turned into a shaped card. The tiny lights stand is from Memory Box and the holly is from the Cutting Cottage Santa's Toys. I will probably re-do it but for now...here it is---

A quick card using a Silhouette sentiment, Spellbinders Floral Oval and Martha Stewart Holly punch that I crimped---
Another quick card using Spellbinders Floral Oval along with Silhouette poinsettias and Impressive Obsession Pine Wreath Collection, Memory Box Twig (without the leaves and berries) and a picture of a Chickadee that I found online that I did a print and cut with my Silhouette---
A SUPER quick card (maybe 20 minutes...start to finish) using a snow scene picture I found online and added the lamppost from Nitwit Make a Scene collection. If I run short of time, I will duplicate this card but instead of using Flower Soft, I will probably use chunky glitter---
A pop up card from the Silhouette online store by Samantha Walker. No matter how hard I tried to get a good picture of the front, I just wasn't able to. The front is blue with stars and the words Peace of Earth showing through in white---
That's it for now...I think I've got a pretty good run on my Christmas cards, I will probably be working on Halloween next. I'm not sure when I will be back...as I have said before...YOUR comments are my inspiration to keep posting. Enjoy your day and have a great week!

A Couple Birthday and a Thank You Card

Happy Monday! Thanks for stopping by...I hope you had a good weekend. For those of you that have wondered where I have been...I'm here...I'm here! I just haven't had much time for blogging. I suppose once again I have gotten lazy and neglected my blog. Here are a couple of birthday cards and a quick thank you card that is a little out of my comfort zone. For this first birthday card I used a mix of Spellbinder Sprightly Sprockets and gears from the Silhouette online store. The Scrabble pieces are a print and cut done with my Silhouette---
A birthday card for my special Blogger friend Lorene. The bear and background papers are from the Nitwit Grin and Bear It collection teamed with a few cuts from my Silhouette---
A little bit out of my comfort zone but I wanted to do something with the mouse from the Beatrix Potter collection I had gotten several weeks ago when The Silhouette online store had a half price sale of their licensed print and cut images. You can't tell from the picture but I used rock candy distressed stickles on the back ground and added the needle and thread from Memory Box---
That's is for now. Til next time...have a wonderful week!
