Halloween BINGO-The Cutting Cafe

Happy Humpday! I hope you are having a great week! I'm not big into sending my grandkids candy for Halloween. I was SO excited when Regina from The Cutting Cafe came up with this Halloween BINGO Set. Isn't it awesome! I had so much fun making it too! The set features 8 different colored BINGO cards that are are approximately 4.5 by 5 inches with all the words for the cards that can be punched out using a 1"circle punch (that's a LOT of punching but so worth the effort) and 6 BINGO sentiments. As a bonus there is a sheet of each of the bingo cards reduced in size to approx. 2 "by 2.5". I used a 3/4" circle punch for the chips but you could use buttons or other fun embellishments. I also used the 8" x 5.5" box template with dividers that is perfect for holding all the pieces and makes a nice gift set. The box template comes with a plain top or a top with a window (which is the one I used), dividers and 2 window frames which I opted not to use because it would cover the witch on the designer paper---
Here is the set boxed and ready to go. It didn't photograph well, I had to take the picture without the flash to prevent flashback from the acetate on the window, The paper is much brighter in real life---
Here is the recipe---
Boxed BINGO Set
Stamps/Image: Cutting Cafe-Halloween BINGO Card Set
Box Template: Cutting Cafe-8"x5.5" Box With Dividers
Nestibilities: Circle/Scallop
Cuttlebug: Halloween 3x3 Die

Accessories: Ribbon, Flat Back Gems, Foam Pop Dot
Base Cardstock: Stampin' Up Kraft Cardstock
Patterened Paper: K & Company-Tim Coffey Halloween 12"x12"
Other Paper/Cardstock-Acetate (for the window), Recollection (Michael's)
That's it for today. I still haven't caught up on visitng my favorite blog but hopefully I will be able to today! I won't be posting anything tomorrow but I hope to see you back on Friday. Enjoy your day!

Halloween Wishes-Just For You

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! I'm really pressed for time this morning with SO much to do, I really have NO business stepping foot into my craftroom but I wanted you all to know that I'm still alive. Here's a SUPER QUICK and EASY (translated to "CHEESEY"...lol) candy wrapper using one of the circle sentiments from The Cutting Cafe's new file called Halloween Time. It's an awesome file that has 55 assorted images and sentiments. To make the wrapper, I simply cut a 6"x 6" piece of cardstock, put adhesive on all four sides folded it over a regular size KitKat bar and crimped the ends---
Here is the recipe---

This is the first time I have been able to access the Internet since I have been gone...Regina over at the Cutting Cafe has been super busy with Halloween files and my mailbox is jammed full of new and exciting files, I can't wait to get home to check them out. But you can check them out here. Here is a very simple card I made several weeks ago with last years Halloween files from the Cutting Cafe. I'm almost embarrassed to post this card with all the new files Regina has done but when I get home, I'll make up for lost time--- Here's The Recipe---

Happy Fall

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. Mine was kind of different. It started late Friday night with the air conditioning going out. By the time someone was able to come out Saturday to fix it, it had reached 87* in the house. While we were waiting for the house to cool down, we went to visit my son. He was watching the boys while Kim had her first girls night out since she had the twins. They have really grown and are so alert now. They no longer look like newborns. I must say, I am really proud of my son, he is such a good dad! We spent Sunday packing and doing last minute odds and ends to get reading for the trip but I was able to sneak into my craftroom and make this card. By the time you read this, we will be well on our way to North Carolina to visit my sister-in-law and her husband. I am scheduling this posting since we will not have access to the Internet. Since Labor Day marks the end of Summer, I thought I would do a Fall card and use The Cutting Cafe's Welcome Fall Printable Stamp Set. It is really awesome and comes with 46 images just waiting to be printed out and colored. It also has a few sentiments---
Here is the recipe---
Card Size: 4.75"x4.75"
Copic Markers
Stamps/Image: Cutting Cafe- Welcome Fall
Nestibilities: Circle, Lacey Circle
Sentiment: Cutting Cafe-Welcome Fall
Accessories: Ribbon, Flat Back Pearls, Eyelet, Craft Yarn, Foam Pop Dots
Base Cardstock: Bazzill
Patterned Paper: K & Company-Classic K McKenna 12x12

You may be asking yourself...why did I make this an "odd" size. I have found it works out better for me when I make my own envelopes using patterned paper to match my card and my Scor Pal. The envelope is 5"x5" and fits perfectly into a 5'x7" clear envelope and then into a 6"x6" non bendable mailer, which is what I use to mail my cards.

That's it for today and for the rest of the week. I'm not sure when we will be returning, our plans are up in the air at this time so I'll close by saying...Thanks for stopping by, I will see you when I see you. Enjoy your day and have a wonderful week!

P.S. I tried to visit all my favorite blogs before I shut down my computer for the night, but Blogger was giving me such a fit with "Service Unavailable...Error Code 503" so if I didn't get to you last night, I'll be sure to visit you when I get back!

Happy Birthday To A Real Classic

Good Morning...Happy Friday! Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy your visit. My brother in laws birthday is next week...here is the card I made for him. I went way out of my comfort zone on this...first I went for a distressed look and second it is 4.75 by 7.50 which is larger than I normally like to make. Had I made an A2 card, the images could barely be visible. I'm not sure I like it but there is no time to make another so I guess he's stuck with it...after all it IS the thought that counts...right? I feel that I have to wash my hands after touching it...I suppose it's mind over matter, the cardstock is new, it is clean...it just looks dirty and I feel the need to wash my hands...is that weird or what---
Here is the recipe---
Card Size: 4.75" x 7.50"
Image: JenU Designs-Antique Car Stamps, Postage Date Stamps
Nestibilities: Square, Petite Oval
Font: Computer Generated-LD Post
Base Cardstock: Cordination
Printed On Cordination Cardstock-Postcard and Stamp from JenU Designs-Heritage Collection and distressed with open blade of scissors

That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your day and have a wonderful weekend! Hope to see you again on Monday!

Thank Ewe

Good Morning Everyone. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. For those of you that are enjoying a 3 day weekend...Happy Labor Day! When Regina came out with The Scalloped Shaped Card Template a couple weeks ago, I knew what I was going to do with it. The cutting file comes in 4 sizes from 4 inches to 5.5 inches. The set also comes with a optional top scallop piece for a complete scallop circle shaped card. I teamed the 4 inch template with an oldie but goodie, The Ewe Background Stamp. The set of 4 Background Stamps comes with 4 different background words, each have an image in 2 sizes to go with the wording. You can purchase it in the set of 4 or separtely. I purchased the set of 4 background stamp before joining the design team and it is still one of my favorites. Here is a card I made--- Here is the recipe---
Circle Shape Size-4 inches
Scallop Circle Shape Template: Cutting Cafe-Scallop Circle Shape Template
Background: Cutting Cafe-Ewe Background Pintable Stamp (printed on patterned paper)
Nestibilities: Circle
Spellbinders: Whimsey Font Set
Accessories: Ribbon, Glitter, Flat Back Pearls, Foam Pop Dots
Base Cardstock: Cordination (pink)
Patterned Paper: Best Occasions (Wal-Mart) Scrap Pack
Other Cardstock: Best Occasions (aqua)
That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by. I'll see you next time...have a great day!

Whoo Hoo...We Have A Guest Designer...sort of!

Hello Again! I want to share a Thank You card I received from my good blogger friend Lorene. I first "met" Lorene when she purchased a set of cards from me about a year ago. She is 70 years old and is now trying her hand at paper crafting. I was deeply moved when I received this card and honored that she would share with me one of her first creations! She asked that I not look too close at the attempt she had made and said it was very simple to start. Well, I DID look at it closely and I must say, I was very impressed! I will treasure this card as I do our friendship. For those of you visiting my blog, I ask that you take a moment to comment on her card. We have all been new at paper crafting at one time or another and know the importance of receiving encouragement through comments in order to grow. Please help me welcome Lorene to the card making world and convince her to set up a blog so she too can share her wonderful creations with the rest of us!

Sending Hugs & Kisses

Good Morning and TGIF...gosh it's been a long week...I'm ready for the weekend!! Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy your visit! Here's a card I made using the my new Lacey Circle Nestibilities. You know how much I love my Nestibilities but I'm not sure I like this new set. I'm OK with the way this card came out but I think it's going to be hard to find the right layout for the new sets. They don't seem to have the versatility that the others do---
Here is the recipe---
Card Size: 4.75x4.75
Copic Markers
Stamps/Image: Magnolia
Nestibilities: Lacey Circle
Punch: Fiskars-Small Tag, Fiskars Heart Corner, EK Scallop Photo Corner
Sentiment on Tag: Computer Generated-LD Stringbean
Accessories: Buttons, Scrapper's Floss, Flat Back Gems, Glitter, Foam Pop Dots
Base Cardstock: Bazzill
Patterned Paper: DCWV-Holiday Collection-The Christmas Stack 12x12

That's it...thanks for stopping by. I hope to see you back on Monday! Enjoy your day and have a wonderful weekend!
