Top O' The Mornin' To Ya!

Good Morning Everyone...It's that time again, finally FRIDAY! Are you ready for the weekend? It seems the older I get, the faster time goes. Here is a little card I made this morning for my father in law for St Patrick's Day. When I seen this Stampendous Image on Sue Nelson's Heartprints site, I knew I just had to have it, so I went looking for it last Saturday only to come home empty handed. Sue has card making classes at Arnie's Arts and Craft in Greenville, Michigan. Everything she uses on her site can be purchased through them. I have ordered from them a number of times and decided that I would give them a call. Since I want all of my St Patrick's Day cards done by March 1st, I told the young lady that answered the phone that I had to have it by today so it had to be mailed by Monday, or Tuesday at THE latest. She promised me it would be and low and be hold it was in my mail box on Wednesday. How is that for customer Service for you? As I said, I have ordered from them before and their customer service is impeccable. They are always friendly and very helpful and the best part they have very fast shipping. I could has gotten the stamp on eBay but I didn't want to leave it to chance that I would not have it in time for this years St. Patrick's Day cards. The set has 3 different Changito images, several shamrocks and 3 or 4 different sentiments, so there is no doubt with several more card that need to be made, I will be using him again before the week is over.Anyhoo, here is today's card---
Here is the recipe---
Card Size: A2
MCPT: Prismacolor/OMS
Stamp/Image: Stampendous
Nestibilities: Oval/Scallop
Punch: Fiskars Apron Lace
Accessories: Ribbon, Glitter, Clover Buttons, Craft Yarn, Foam Pop Dots

That's it for today...thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your day and have a great weekend. I hope to see you again on Monday!

May Love And Laughter Light Your Days

Good Morning...Happy Hump Day! I hope you are having a great week! Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoy your visit. I found the main sentiment on the Internet (sorry, I can't remember where so I'm not able to give credit) but it really said everything I wanted it to say, I will be making several of these to send to the adult family members and friends for St. Patrick's Day. If you are not able to read the print on the card, here is what it says---
May Love and Laughter Light Your Days,
and Warm Your Heart and Home.
May Good and Faithful Friends be Yours,
Wherever You May Roam.
May Peace and Plenty Bless Your World
With Joy That Long Endures.
May All Life's Passing Seasons
Bring the Best to You and Yours!
Here is the recipe---
Card Size: A2
Main Image: Found On Internet-Computer Generated
Stamps: Michael's Dollar Bin St. Patrick's Day (stamped with Versamark on kraft paper background on main image and sentiment)

Looky What I Got In The Mail Today!

Look what the mailman brought me today...from my good blogger friend, Doreen all the way from Malta! In my "goodie box" I received 5 sheets of the most beautiful blue and white flowered vellum, 3 sheets of butterfly vellum (you know how I LOVE butterflies), a package of Rub-ons from Imaginisce, a package of chipboard dimensional, 8 pieces of GORGEOUS white ribbon, , a chain of yellow felt daisies, heart and high heel die cuts, pearl hearts and a bunch...and I do mean a bunch of stamped imaged including my FAVORITE images from Friends Forever and Popcorn Bear. I am SO excited because I LOVE the Friends Forever stamps but can't seem find them without going overseas. She also sent a Quick Cards magazine that one of her cards were featured in, and if that wasn't enough, she made this beautiful card that she had posted to her blog last week. Let me tell you, the picture of the card does not do it justice. The card is absolutely GORGEOUS!
Thank you SO much Doreen, you are SO Sweet! If you get a chance, check out her blog, she is a newbie to the blog world but not to card making, she really does some AWESOME work and is an inspiration to all!

Wishing You A Speedy Recovery

Good Morning Everyone. I hope you had a fabulous weekend. I know I was suppose to finish up my Valentine cards today but my sister in law will be having surgery on her knee on Wednesday, here is the card I will send her. I'm not sure what is wrong with my camera, it's a bit darker than what it is in real life. The image is from Dustin Pike which I got awhile ago but when I went to get the link, I wasn't able to find the image. Several month ago he retired many of his images and this must have been one of them. You can still have fun by visiting his site, his images are so whimsical and has many freebies.
Here's the recipe---
Card Size:A2
MCPT-Prismacolor/OMS
Stamp/Image: Dustin Pike
Nestibilities: Circle Scallop
Cuttlebug: With Gratitude Card Making Combo
Punches: Martha Stewart Doily Hearts Border Punch (yellow lacy edging-hearts are covered)
Sentiment: Computer Generated-Juice ITC Font
Accessories: Ribbon, Glitter, Heart Buttons, Craft Yarn, Foam Pop Dots

Thanks for taking the time to visit with me today, I hope to finish up the last few Valentine cards in the next few days, so be sure to check back. Enjoy your day!
