Hoppy Birthday

Here is a pretty simple birthday card I did last night. The image was colored with Prisma pencils and Gamsol. I also masked the ice cream cone that the frog was holding so he could hold the balloons that I cut from cuttlebug balloon die cut. I used nestibilities for the circle and the tag and added a few brads to the tag. Word are computer generated.TFL

Sending You A Ton Of LOVE For Valentine's Day

Here's a quick card I haven't decided if I like it. I think the image is too big or too plain. I used Prisma colored pencil and Gamsol to color the image, Martha Stewart Valentine Lace edge punch, oval Nestibilities and rain hearts. Put some glitter on the tutu and shoes and a ribbon on the band. The words are computer generated. TFL

Bee Our Valentine

I made this simple Valentine card for my sister-in-law and her husband. The image was colored with Prisma pencils and Gamsol. I used block heart Cuttlebug embossing folder,Martha Stewart Valentine Lace edge punch,circle scallop and rectangle scallop Nestibilities, added some ribbon, glitter and a love charm. TFL

My 1st Acetate Card

Here is my 1st acetate card and it may be my last...lol...only kidding! It was a lot of fun making it but gosh...all you have to do is look at it and it get fingerprints on it. Anyway I used Prisma colored pencils with Gamsol on the House Mouse image, layered oval nestibilities and Martha Stewart lace punch. Added some glitter and rain dot hearts, tied a ribbon on and it's was done. I may put a double heart on the gray band. It was really pretty easy but next time, I wipe the fingerprints off at the end! TFL

Puppy Love

Here is a Valentine card I did for one of my granddaughters using a coloring page I found on the internet. I used Gamsol with Prisma pencils to color the image and used both the heart and scalloped heart nestibilities, Fiskars paper crimper for the pink layer and heat embossed the eyes and fun flocked the nose and the pads of the feet. I also made a Shrinky Dink heart with "WUF U" and tied it around the dogs neck. TFL

Pouring You A Cup Of Valentine Birthday Wishes

This Valentine Day card was for my sister-in-law who's birthday is on Valentine's Day, she collects tea pots so what better way to say Happy Birthday than to "Pour a Cup of Valentine Birthday Wishes" The tea pot was cut with Cricuit Dreams Come True, cuttlebug love language embossing folder and Martha Stewart Valentine lace edge punch. The words are computer generated. It is an acetate card

Baby Bella's Valentine

It's for my youngest granddaughter who is 9 months old, I hadn't even thought about making her one. I guess my husband shamed me into it...yeah I'm a bad grandma! He asked me last night...when I has sharing the others I had made, what about Bella. I told him I hadn't thought about making her one, she was too young and I thought it was more important that my other granddaughters received something to make them feel special. Well the last thing he said to me this morning was not to forget about Bella...yeah, yeah...well here it is...I colored the image with Prisma pencils and Gamsol. I used heart and heart scallop Nestibilities, inked the edges and glittered them. The band was cut using Martha Stewart lace punch. I added a ribbon and rain hearts. And yes...I do feel better now that I made one for her too.

Here is a very simple Valentine card for my father in law. I used swiss dot and with love cuttlebug folders, Martha Stewart Valentine lace border punch and nestibilities for the hearts. Words are computer generated. TFL

Here Is My Heart

This card was inspired by DS Scrapper's of The Cricut Messageboard "My Heart Belongs To You". I just loved how she layered the glittered heart and surrounded it with pearls. Since I hadn't made a Valentine for my husband, I thought I had better get busy . The hearts were cut from Nestibilities. I used Divine Swirls, Swiss dots and I Love You from the I Love You set Cuttlebug embossing folders and cut the daisies out of vellum from walk in my garden cart and secured them with brads. I used a ticket punch at the corners, added ribbon with 3 button hearts sewn on, a bow, pearls and a rain heart. Word on the heart are computer generated.

Hogs And Kisses

A really simple card that I made for one of my granddaughters. I used Prizma pencils with Gamsol for the image, Cuttlebug Love Language embossing folder for the band that I used a gel pen to color the hearts. Nestibilities for the hearts and oval. I used shrinky dink printed with the word "Love" and cut with the scallop nestibility heart between the pigs snouts. The "Hogs n Kisses" is computer generated.

Mickey Valentine Acetate Card

This Mickey Valentine is for a couple that my husband use to work with. They are Mickey fanatics, so when possible I try to work Mickey into their cards. This is an acetate card. I used cricut to cut the Mickey head from black cardstock and cut the hearts in his ears with Design Studio then layered it with red when putting the card together. The image is a coloring page that I found on line. I colored it using Prisma pencils and gamsol. I stamped the acetate with dollar stamps that I got from Michaels and used black Stazon, then colored the inside image with a red sharpie marker.

A Purple Dragon Valentine

This cute little dragon was for my 2 year old grandson. My daughter-in-law told he got so excited when he got mail. Everytime he comes to my house, he asks if we can got get the mail. We walk to the mail box and I let him carry a piece of junk mail back to the house. I used Prizma colored pencils with Gamsol, square and scallop nestibilities for the image layer,and heart block cuttlebug embossing folder. I inked the heart then layered it on the scallop heart. The hugs & kisses are made from Shrinky Dink material that I stamped with royal purple Stazon ink.

This is a High Hopes image that was colored with Prisma pencils and Gamsol, I cut it out and put it in a pocket heart made from Nestibilities and laced up the front. I used Fiskars corner punch and Martha Stewart Valentine lace edge punch. Words are computer generated.

Bee My Valentine

Here is a card I made for a good friend, although we don't stay in contact with each other as much as I'd like. I used Prisma colored pencils and Gamsol to color the image. Stampin Up scallop punch, small rectrangle and heart Nestibilities. I added some glitter, ribbon, rain hearts, silver heart charm and alphabet beads from my stash.
