A Few Family Birthday Cards

Good Morning Everyone! Thanks for stopping by...I hope you are having a great week! Many of you know that my mom has been in a rehab for the last 2 months because she was unable to walk unassisted due to several compound fractures of the spine but what you may not know is she has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer. We will know more when we meet with the Oncologist on Thursday. Needless to say, with her 100 miles away and no hopes that she will move closer, my crafting and blogging time will be drastically cut so my postings will be very erratic. At one point I had even given some thought to giving up my blog all together...we'll see how it goes. Here's a few birthday cards that I'm not real happy with but my heart just wasn't into it. Time permitting, I may redo them. The first 2 are for the twins who will be 2 next month...can you believe it...where has the time gone? The image is the infamous Bugaboo Digital Stamp colored with Copic Markers and popped---
I just LOVE that monkey from Bugaboo, so much that I just couldn't resist using him in a different pose for this 5x5 Easel card for our grandson, Kenny Michael. This would not have been my 1st choice for color combo but his favorite colors are yellow and red. The banner is from MFT and the Happy Birthday background is from The Cutting Cafe---
Finally, this last one is for my sister in law's husband. The hot air balloons are MFT stamp and die---
I've got birthdays covered through August so I am hoping to be able to work on some Christmas cards next month. That's it for now... if you need more information, please, don't hesitate to email me. Thanks for stopping by. I will close by saying...Have a great week...I will see you when I see you.

Kelly,

I'm so very sorry to hear about your Mother. It's bad enough for her to have to deal with the fractures in her spine and now to hear she has lung cancer...I will keep you both in my prayers.

As for your cards, they are simply adorable. No need to redo them!!

I hope you don't give up your blog as I so look forward to your posts, but do what works for you!

It's taken me a week to comment but only due to time constraints - not because I didn't love them all . . . I love what you're doing with all the angles and the bright colors in the cards for the kids are fantastic. Don't you DARE re-do them!
I want a slice of the cake on Kenny Michael's card - it looks good enough to eat!

Dearest Kelly,
I'm so sorry to hear about your mom...my heart and prayers go out to her and your family.
Your cards continue to be amazing. Loving all the details you've added to each one to make them so special. The monkey birthday cards are adorable, especially love the frosting on Kenny Michaels cake! And the hot air balloons are lovely...very cool that the hot air balloons are a stamp & die, and the tickets are just the perfect accent for this very special card!
