A Few Mother's Day Cards

Good Morning and Happy Monday to all my friends and followers in blogland! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I'd like to share with you a few of the Mother's Day cards that I will be sending out. This first one features that fat cat image from Penny Black that I colored with my Copics. I think my new favorite color combo is aqua and peach---
Here's another using that color combo with a computer generated sentiment and my favorite Martha Stewart edge punch, Vintage Floral---
For this last one I used the Heart to Heart Doily die from Cherry Lynn. Anyone that has this die knows that it was a real labor of love to make this card. I cut and glued together 5...yes...count them 5 of the dies to give it a shadow box effect---
That's it for today...Thanks for stopping by. If you have a question on the recipe or supplies that I have used in my posting today, please feel free to email me. Til next time...enjoy your day and have a wonderful week!

Oh Kelly these are all so beautiful. I agree the peach and aqua is a winning color combo. The Penny Black image is so cute and your coloring is perfect. You can almost see the texture in the fat cat's fur. The paper you used for your daughter-in-law's card is so pretty. What a lovely computer generated sentiment. The last card is stunning. I know what you mean about that die being a labor of love. I'm sure it was a lot of work but very well worth the effort.

Your Mothers Day cards are so special, Kelly! You just continue to amaze me with how your cards are always so well balanced and put together so perfectly. The time & love you put into creating each of these cards shows and makes them such treasured keepsakes. Five layers? I know how much time it takes to pick out all those little pieces and to have to do it five times? You are amazing!

Bravo!
I love the color choices and the patterns but I want to call it Tiffany Blue . . . I like the way you have the square going off the page and the white "lace" is in perfect contrast. The coloring is spectacular as usual. I love the bouquet on the second one and the 3rd - oh my gosh, 5 layers of that Cheery Lynn? I would be without hair if I tried that. That card is truly a labor of love.
