Welcome Nathaniel and Jeremiah

Hey there...I know I usually don't post in the afternoon or evening but I told you things were going to be crazy for a while. We just got back from the hospital and I just had to share some pictures with you. First of all...I want to thank everyone for the sweet comments and emails that I have received . Mother and babies are doing fine but it didn't start out that way. When Kim had the C-section, she actually felt them cut her open which led to a host of other problems like sky high blood pressure and profuse vomiting. I felt helpless for her, in fact she wasn't up to visitors yesterday so as hard as it was, we stayed away. She is doing better today so we went to see her. The babies are SO cute! But of course I'm just a little prejudice. They're names are Nathaniel and Jeremiah...good biblical names. They don't have middle names yet, it's up to my son to come up with those and I'm told he has until tomorrow or ELSE...Anyway, here they are---Nathaniel on the left and Jeremiah on the right---
We took a ton of pictures but I won't bore you with them all but I just had to share this picture of Jeremiah crying---
Here is the card that I made for her to go with the blue carnations we sent her. I know it's super simple but I sat here this morning and my mind went blank so I took the same layout I had done awhile ago, changed the colors and put a different image with it and called it a day. The lighting was very bad as you can see from the shadows on the top half of the card but I didn't have time to fool with it ---
Here is the recipe---
Card Size: A2
Copic and Prisma Markers
Stamp/Image: Stampabilities-House Mouse
Nestibilities: Circle/Scallop
Cuttlebug: Love Language Card Making Combo
Font: Computer Generated-Cupid de Locke
Accessories: Ribbon, Stickles, Foam Pop Dots
Base Cardstock: Bazzill
Embossed Layer and Image: Beckett Expression Radiance 80 lb Cardstock
That's it for now. I'll stop by to visit my favorite blogs either later this evening or in the morning, til then enjoy your day...I hope to see you again soon!

OMG! Kelly, they are just so sweet and precious. They look like big babies, and the one who is crying is just adorable. Awwwhhh, now you are making me wish I still worked at the hospital, lol. I had the same problem when I had a C-section with my daughter. When they found out I could feel the cut, they knocked me out. Take care of those precious little ones.

hugz, xx

Hi Kelly,
Congratulations Grandma or is it Nana. The boys are lovely I know your very proud of them and so you should be. Are they identical? Sorry to here are your daughter in law, that's not a very nice experience to go through I do hope she's on the mead and puts this behind her. Your Copic colouring is looking great I'm glad your using them and have persevered with them. I too love square cards you can put more onto them. Try a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 thats the size I use it gives you that little more room. I have made a few 6x6 as well. I have to make my envelopes to go with each of them. Take care and go and have some cuddles with your grandsons.
Hugs
Kathie

God bless the little babies. They are so cute and they are hugging each other. My daughter had twins 7years ago. I do understand how busy you can get. As you watch them grow notice how close they will be - In almost every picture we have of our Twins (girl and boy) they are holding hands or hugging even as new borns. What love. Blessing to your family on the new addition.
