A Few Cards Done With My Silhouette Cameo

Good Morning Everyone! Thanks for stopping by. Here's a few cards that I did with my Silhouette Cameo. The girl next door will be turning 5 at the end of the month. She is an avid reader and my husband made her a cross stitch bookmark. Keeping with the theme, I decided to do a crayon shaped card. The picture doesn't do it justice, it is just as cute as can be and was SO easy. It is an A2 sized card that I added a tag cut from a CC Designs die and some twine---
Here is the cross stitch my husband did. The picture was scanned and doesn't show it's true beauty. My husband does GORGEOUS work, in most cases you can't tell the front from the back---

This was my first attempt at creating a card with my Silhouette...before the mat and the blade went bad. Everything on it was done with the Silhouette---
Those of you that know me, know that I have a tough time with St. Patrick's Day cards but I actually had fun with these. Done with clip art and the print and cut feature on the Silhouette. I love this feature and it actually works, unlike my Bosskut Gazelle which I was never able to get it right---
A closer look. You can't really tell from the picture but the clip art image was printed twice, once on the background and the other was cut and popped to give dimension---

That's it for today. I hope you enjoyed your visit and that I have inspired you. I have a few more St. Patrick's Day cards to do, then on to Easter. Enjoy your day...hope to see you again soon!

Three days late & a dollar short . . . I love them all but that crayon is great, especially with the bookmark - what a treasure! I like the piano and see how the Silhouette is really showcasing your personalized ideas but the dinos for the twins and the monster are the best. I love the subtle purple background, the purple pot and the purple bow, really sets the whole thing off and those lips!

You have become a pro with your Silhouette. Can't believe what all it can do! If these are your first cards on that machine, can't wait to see what else you will create. They are all great! And your husband's cross stitch is enviable. Beautiful work!
