Have A Question On How I Did Something? PLEASE READ!

I love to share what knowledge I have. I'm finding it more and more difficult to respond to your questions because some of you are not leaving a way for me to contact you. I am not ignoring those of you who have questions, but the majority of the time no contact information is given so I am unable to respond to your inquiries. If you are serious about me answering the questions you ask and do not have a Blogger account with an email address linked to it, please leave your email address or email me with your question at knmic1012@aol.com and I will get back with you. If you email me, be sure to put "blog question" in the subject line so I won't think it's SPAM and delete it.

Wishing You A Bird-i-ful Day

Happy Friday! Another week that just flew by...where does the time go? I got my Copic Markers on Wednesday and I don't think I like them any better than my Prisma Markers. After doing the color chart, the colors look as dark if not darker than the Prismas. The jury isn't in yet, but I think I'm going back to using my Prisma Pencils...they are a lot more forgiving than the markers. I'll play with them a little more but I just can't seem to get the hang of it. I'm having a difficult time blending and my coloring isn't very even. I'm wasting a lot of time and paper! Maybe I'll use them in combination with the pencils or maybe I'll put them in THAT corner with all of the other stuff I have gotten but don't use. Anyway, for the good or the bad of it...here is a card I did using them---
Here is the recipe---
Card Size: 5"x5" Square
Copic Markers
Stamps/Image: Magnolia
Nestibilities: Petite Oval/Scallop
Spellbinders: Tags 5
Fiskars Texture Plate: Squares
Sizzix: Stampin' Up Exclusive-Embosslits Beautiful Wings
Punch: Martha Stewart Scallop Lace
Font: Computer Generated-Squish
Accessories: Ribbon, Mulberry Flower, Flat Back Pearls, Foam Pop Dots

That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by, I hope to see you again on Monday. Enjoy your day and have a great weekend!

Kelly I think you did a fantastic job. I'm having difficulty also with the markers (glad to see I'm not the only one challenged in this area-LOL!). Keep on trying because I think you'll be there long before me. Hugs...Kris

Your coloring is flawless GF! Adorable card! Go on u-tube and watch Susan Dean videos for copic techniques! Helps a lot!

Kelly this is so super cute and the coloring looks just perfect to me. I felt the same what when I first got my Copics, but with some practice I've improved somewhat and at least I don't want to throw them out the window. LOL Love your colors here an I'll be scraplifiting that sentiment for sure! xxD

i don't think the colours look dark and your colouring is perfect as always Kelly. We have Promarkers in the UK which I use but these always seem dark to me too but them I'm not a very good colourer lol! Love Tilda with her little birdcarge and your sentiment is precious!
