Wanna Know A Secret?
Good Evening Bloggers. I will not be available for most of the day tomorrow, my husband who has suffered terribly with 2 herniated disc in his back is having cortisone treatments tomorrow so I wanted to post this card that I made tonight. It was cut from Cricut Wild Card Doily at 5 inch. The image is Stampendous Bee Secret, it was colored with Prisma pencils and OMS then layered on a Nestibility circle/scallop. Glitter was added to the wings and glossy accents added to the circles on the body, feet and antenna. I added a few heart shaped brads. The flowers around the edge of the card were punched with Fiskars flower punch and flat back pearls were added to the centers. Check out the bow...can't tell you how I made all the words come out right side up on ALL the loops and tails but with some twisting and turning it did. I'd bet I couldn't do it again! Words are computer generated and the inside reads---"We Bee Missin' and Lovin' You Too!" I'm going to send this to my 4 year old granddaughter. My son and his family moved from Florida to Tennessee 2 1/2 years and I STILL miss them terribly. My son can stay up there...just send the kids back to Florida...LOL (only kidding)! Have a great evening and I'll catch up with you soon.
Thank You...So Much!
Good Morning! I've got a bright and cheery card for you this morning, I usually don't use bright colors because I like the softer tones but I thought this stamp needed something bright. I had purchased this stamp when I first started out, I bought a huge lot of stamps from eBay and I had forgotten all about this one. It is a Rubber Stampede Suzy's Zoo collection. I colored the image with Prisma pencils and OMS then layered it on card stock that I cut rather than my usual Nestibilities and added some glitter. The buttons were cut from Sizzix button die and threaded with craft yarn. I added a flower using Fiskars flower punch and added a brad. Words are computer generated. It just doesn't get any easier than that! Thanks for stopping by and until later...Happy Crafting!

...Bee Thanking You...
Here is a quick card that I did using Cricut Wild Card cartridge. It's the Father's Day card cut at 5 inches. I used Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder for the base card and Distressed Striped embossing folder for the frame. I also added an extra layer behind the cut out to extend to the edge of the back of the base card so it shows through the front beyond the deckle edge. The image is Stampendous Bee Thanking You and it was colored with Prisma pencils and OMS. I added some glitter to the bee and added a few flowers from Spellbinders, 5mm flat back pearls and a knot bow ribbon. Thanks for stopping by---enjoy the rest of your evening!
Computer Generated Words
Several people have asked about computer generated words on my cards...I will attempt to explain---
I set the page size in a word document (I have Microsoft Home and Office 2007) under page layout to coincide with the size of card stock that I will be using for my card. Since most of my cards are A2, I set the size at 5.5 x 4.25 for the base card and smaller if I am printing on a layer. I adjust the margins also (I usually set them at .5 or smaller). Type in the text...you can move the words and change the font to where you want it to be on the paper. I have awful handwriting so I also use the computer to print the inside sentiment as well. I do the same but choose center text and it will center it automatically. On my April 22nd posting Have A Hoppy Day, I set the paper size for 1.25 x 4 set the margins at zero, used the center feature, choose the font and font size, typed the words and hit print...perfectly centered. I always do print preview to see that it looks the way I want it. In the case where it doesn't matter where the text is on the paper such as my Thank You...Berry Much! I make sure the print will fit within the Nestibility by making sure that my word document is showing 100% and then hold the Nestibility up to the computer screen. After I print it I center the Nestibility over the words on the cardstock, then run it through my Cuttlebug. If there are 2 things that I couldn't do without it would have to be my Cuttlebug and my Nestibilities. I hope this helps, if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Sending Hungs and Kisses!
Good Morning All...well we've made it half way through the week. I'm already looking forward to the weekend! I made this card for my 7 year old granddaughter. It's a Penny Black image that I colored with Prisma pencils and OMS, then layered it on a rectangle/scallop Nestibility. I used a gel pen for the dots around the scalloped layer. The heart on the top background layer was cut with a heart Nestibility. I added a bow, a flower, a 5mm flat back pearl and some glossy accents to the hearts on the image. Words are computer generated. That's it for now...catch ya next time. Have a great day!

I Guess I Don't Know How To Reply To A Comment After All
I thought I knew what I was doing but I was WRONG...LOL! Last night Sharon over at Gramma's House of Cards sent me an email to reply to the comment I had put on her blog. I was amazed, I didn't realize you could do that...well other people probably can but evidently I can't...I tried to reply to 4 different people on 4 different comments this morning and I guess I'm still doing something wrong. The only thing I can suggest is, until I learn how to reply to the comments is for those who do write a comment and want a reply is to subscribe to the post. I'll keep trying, but I can't promise when that will be...if ever! This blog is going to be the death of me yet...LOL! I've got to get off this computer now...my husband will be home at noon and I have gotten NOTHING done! Have a great weekend and I'll see you Monday!
Wishing You The Breast Birthday Ever!
Tomorrow is my husbands birthday (Happy Birthday Sweetheart!) so with the help of the cut file from JenC of the Cricut Messageboard I made him this card. SUPER EASY! I used D'Vine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder and added 3mm flat back pearls. It just doesn't get any easier than that. Words are computer generated.

I Apologize To Everyone That Has Been Kind Enough To Leave A Comment!
I owe everyone that has left a comment a huge apology. I didn't realize that I could respond to your comments via email. I had learned this tonight and going forward if you leave a comment with an email address attached to your blogger id, I will respond to everyone that is kind enough to leave a comment! Unfortunately I will not be able to respond to those that leave a comment anonymously. I am new at this and everyday is a learning experience for me!
Many Thanks From The Heart
Good Morning! I see that I'm already getting visitors this morning...come on in...take a look around but don't forget to take a moment to sign my guestbook or to leave a comment. You know how I LOVE to hear from those of you that are visiting my Blog! Just a real quick card this morning. The image is that ever lovin' Fluffles from Stampendous, he was colored with Prisma pencils and OMS then layered on circle/scallop Nestibilities. The Many Thanks is a Cuttlebug embossing folder from the Thanks collection, it was layered on square/scallop Nestibilities. The back ground is embossed with the Argyle Cuttlebug embossing folder. The tiny heart is also a Nestibility. I used the scallop diamond edge punch from EK, then covered up the diamond shape with rhinestones. I also used rhinestones for the center of the flowers and added a ribbon. Words on the tiny heart are computer generated. Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your day and I will see you tomorrow...if not sooner!

Have A Hoppy Day
Good Morning...Happy Wednesday To All! This mornings card is really quick and easy. I used a Penny Black stamp (love those frogs) and colored it with Prisma pencils and OMS, then layered it on a rectangle Nestibility and added a few black brads. The background is Swiss Dot Cuttlebug embossing folder (that I see now from the picture is a little off centered so I will have to remove it and try again ---the story of my life...LOL! Thank goodness for Un-Du) . I used EK scallop diamond edge punch. Words are computer generated. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
A BIG Thank You To Celtic Woman Sandi!
Yesterday marked my 1 month blogoversary! I want to dedicate this page to Celtic Woman Sandi. Without her encouragement I couldn't have done it. I can't tell you how many times I was ready to trash the whole idea of having a blog and the countless times I had said to my husband "This isn't fun anymore"! Sandi was always there with a bright cheery comment to keep me going. I come to you from the Cricut messageboard where I had no knowledge of card making and while I would sit on the sidelines, she would give helpful tips to my fellow Cricuteers. It wasn't until Christmas time that I had any real interaction with Sandi, but I recall very vividly the work she had done and how I marveled at her creations. She has a saying on the messageboard that reads: "Any thing worth doing, takes time, time to learn, time to perfect and time to master. If it is not worth the time then it is not worth doing, go on to the next project. " Those words have kept be strong thought out this blog making venture and I owe a world of gratitude to Sandi. Take a moment to visit her blog---

Acetate Thank You
Here's a quick card I did this afternoon. It is done on acetate and was very difficult to photograph...I had to put a piece of card stock behind the card so you could see the stamped image and took the picture without a flash so it really looks better in real life. The "Thank You" is a Whipper Snapper stamp that I stamped in white Staz-On Ink then colored the image on the backside of the acetate with Sharpie markers. I used Martha Stewart flower and branch punch and Sizzix scroll die cut then layered it on an oval Nestibility on the outside layer of the card base and the scallop oval Nestibility for the inside to "hide" the adhesitive. Added a few rain flowers, 3mm and 5mm flat back pearls. Thanks for stopping by-Enjoy your day!

Heard You Were On Your Ass
Good Morning...hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!!! Here is a card that I made for my brother in law (my husbands brother opposed to my sister's husband) who just had surgery and is really having a tough time of it. He has a farm house in SW Virgina and has several mules, so I thought this card would be appropriate for the occasion. I used a free image that I found on line---http://coloringpagesforkids.info/donkey-coloring-pages/
then colored the image with Prima pencils and OMS then layered in on a rectangle Nestibility. Added a few flowers that were cut with Fiskars flower punch and 3mm flatback rhinestone. The grass was cut with Crircut Plantain Schoolbook cartridge. I added 3 Making Memories metallic brads. Words are computer generated and layered on oval/scallop Nestibilities. The inside reads "Wishing You A Speedy Recovery"
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your day and I'll see you next time. Until then "Happy Crafting"!

Good Morning!
No cards to post this morning...While my husband is still sleeping, I thought I'd edit my blog. As I have said before, I really don't know what I'm doing, I'm VERY computer illiterate but I am learning. The trouble is, in the learning process, I'm not sure what I've done to get where I am! I have added a guestbook to invite comments. When I created this blog, I had hoped it would serve as an interactive forum for the exchange of creative ideas. I'm getting a ton of viewers but very few comments, so PLEASE take a moment to either add a comment or sign my guestbook.
I have also editied they way you view my blog, rather than all of my cards on one page, I have limited the first page to display the cards I have made in the last 7 days, with the remainder of my card collection viewable as older posts.

You Are So Special
Yeah, I know I wasn't suppose to be making cards this morning but I just couldn't help it...I got some cats eye pearls last week that I have been dying to use and I thought this would be perfect...you get it...house mouse...cats eye...oh forget it...I was trying to be funny... Anyway instead of cleaning my house, I sat here this morning and made this card. As I said the image is a House Mouse (don't ya just love them little guys!?!) that I colored with Prisma pencils and OMS. I layered it on a heart/scallop Nestibility. The background paper was scored with Scor Pal, and the flowers were cut with Fiskars flower punch with the cats eye pearls in the center. I used the die cut for Cuttlebug Love Language Combo and added a ribbon. Words are computer generated. Now...I'm off to fly like the wind to get this house cleaned up before my husband comes home at noon! Have a great weekend!!!

May Peace Be With You
I know many of you check daily, but I probably won't have a chance to do anything crafty tomorrow so I made this card tonight. The image is by Paper Inspirations and colored with Prisma pencils and OMS. It was done using the dryer towel method. Words are computer generated. Thanks for stopping by and if I don't have a chance to pop in tomorrow...have a fabulous weekend!

Just Because
Good Morning---I will be out of touch for most of the day today but I did want to share with you the card that I made this morning. It's an acetate card, I hadn't made one since Valentine's Day and had forgotten how easy they were to make. The hardest part is not to get fingerprints on the acetate. I wait until I finish the card to wipe the fingerprints off, otherwise it would make me crazy! It also helps to wash your hands before starting so the oils from your hands don't transfer onto the acetate. I stamped the sentiment in white Staz-On ink but you couldn't see it very well with the inside background paper so I wiped it off and did it in red. The flowers are Spellbinders and the buttons and swirls are Sizzix. I added 3mm flat back pearls. That's all for now---Thanks for stopping by---see you next time! Enjoy your day!

I'm Sorry!
Although we don't like to admit it...sometimes we have to say we are sorry. Every time I look at this little guy, it looks to me that he is saying "I'm Sorry" It's a Whipper Snapper image that I colored with Prisma pencils and OMS, then layered on square Nestibilities. The flowers are Fiskars flower punch. I doodle dotted (Is that a word?!?) with a white gel pen and added some gemstones and glitter. Words are computer generated. Thanks for stopping by...have a great day and I'll see you next time!

Some Bunnies Loves You
SusieB, one of the most talented ladies on the Cricut Messageboad made this card a few weeks ago. I have to say I get a lot of my inspiration from her, and most of what I have learned comes from her web site. If you get a chance you need to stop by her web site---http://www.heartprints.net/gallery/ The Blogger wouldn't let me add her to the list of blogs that I follow or she would be tops on my list. She does AWESOME work! Most of the stamps she uses, I want but this one I just HAD to have. It's a Penny Black stamp and it arrived Wednesday, I asked her if I may copy it and she so graciously say yes...so I did and here it is! The stamp has a heart shaped balloon but I masked it so I could put the heart as Susie did on her card. I colored the image with Prisma pencils and OMS, used the heart Nestibility and doodled around the heart with a gel pen, added glitter and some poms. The bottom edge was punched using EK Success Arrow punch. Words are computer generated. Thanks Susie!!!

Good Morning Bloggers!
I will be watching my 2 year old grandson today so more than likely will not have time to make any cards but I was successful in adding the rest of my collection to my blog this morning, which included Halloween, Thanksgiving and the rest of Christmas, a Congratulation and a Thank You. Whew...It's done and boy am I glad it is over...what a job! Again, I back dated them to show approximately when they were made. So I can start fresh by moving forward. Setting up this blog up has been so overwhelming for me because I'm very computer illiterate. Anyway, think about me as I'm chasing after a VERY active 2 year old today. He is really a good boy and so bright but I have to stay one step ahead of him and I'm not a young as I use to be! Til next time...enjoy your day!

Thanks!
This cards was totally inspired by SuzieB of the Cricut Messageboard and is super quick! The Cuttlebug Swiss Dots and With Love Border Embossing Folders were used to emboss the background paper along with Scor Pal. The Thanks embossing folder was used on the heart that was cut from the Nestibilities Heart and and layered it on the Scallop Heart. I added 3mm and 5mm flatback pearls and pearl heart and the bows. Thanks for stopping by...See you next time!
Brrrr...
It's a whopping 52* outside and VERY windy this morning! I actually had to cycle the heat to get the chill off the house (shhhhh don't tell my husband-he'll call me a big freeze baby)! Who would have thought I'd be running the heat in the middle of April!?! Heck, I remember one year I had to go to the hospital for sun poisoning in February...Go figure!
I don't have any cards this morning but I did add a few Christmas cards from the ones I had made in December. I back dated them so they would fall into order in which they were made.
Hopefully I'll be back this afternoon with something to post...mean while don't forget to sign up as a follower so you can track my latest creations! I love to hear from the people that are viewing my blog so don't be shy...leave me a comment!

This card was SUPER easy! I colored the image with Prisma pencils and OMS and layered it on a scallop Nestibility. Added glitter and ribbon with a knot bow. Words are computer generated. I just realized I did not adhere the background layer. I couldn't understand why it was so crooked, anyway I'll go back to tape it down and hopefully I'll get it straight...LOL. Whew...My Easter Cards Are Done...
Since my Easter cards are finished and mailed, I thought I'd go back through the cards I had made prior to me setting up this blog. I will be adding a few cards each day and backdating them to show when they were made. I will start with Christmas, then work backwards through Thanksgiving and Halloween which is when I began making cards.

The Case Of The Missing Font!!!
I had planned spending most of my "free" time finishing up Easter cards that had already been made so they could be mailed this weekend. I never thought I'd be making a last minute card. Most of my cards have computer generated wording on the front of the card, everything was going fine UNTIL I came to a card that I didn't recognize the font and when I went "looking" for it, I wasn't able to find it. I went through ALL of the fonts (and I've got a lot), not once, not twice but 3 times and it was not there...gone...vanished!!! That is what inspired this card. Most of the people on the Cricut Message board have already seen it, and if you have looked at my Easter cards, you probably have seen it too...same basket...same bunny...different color and different flowers. Details are in March 22nd post-"Bunny In A Basket" Thanks for stopping by...enjoy your evening!
Happy April Fool's Day!
Good Morning Bloggers---Happy April Fool's Day!
I'm going to spend the better part of the day working on the inside sentiments of the Easter cards that I have done so they can be mailed out this weekend. My husband has been getting on me about personalizing the back of the cards. This is what I came up with. It is computer generated using clip art and word art. I used the next to the smallest circle and the smallest scallop Nestibilities. It measures about 1 3/4 inch. Of course this is just an example, and it goes with the card that I am putting int on. I have made them color coordinating. Thanks for stopping by!
