Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! I actually was able to spend some time in my craftroom this weekend and this is what I came up with. This first card is for my mom. For those of you that don't know, my mom is in a rehab and has been diagnosed with lung cancer and her only option is chemo, which she has opted not to do. I wanted something that she could set on her nightstand and when she looked at it she would know that she is in our thoughts and in our hearts. It had been awhile since I did a tear bear and I thought this little panda would put a smile on her face. Aside from the panda, the rest of the card is pretty simple. I used heart and circle Nestibilities along with the Spellbinders lattice border, pierced the background on the heart and added a few tiny flowers. The sentiment is computer generated---
I had this next card done for quite a while but didn't want to post it until our good friend Bob had received it. He is a train enthusiast so I thought the digital train image would be perfect for him. You can't tell from the picture but the train is popped for dimension. The edge punch is Stampin' Up, as is the paper. The little ties were around a silverware setup where we had lunch with him and Kathi awhile back...I wonder if he recognized them---
Our good friend Gigi loves birds so I used one of my new favorite dies, Memory Box Perched Reed Bird for her card, added a bit of a flourish, a couple of tickets and called it a day ---And finally, our friend Eduardo, who is Gigi's husband and 1 day younger than her, also loves birds. I'm not sure the buzzard kind but I thought this would be appropriate for a man's card and he will appreciate the humor. I found the clip art image on line and colored it with Copics---
That's it for now...Thanks for stopping by. If you need more information or if you have questions on the recipe or the supplies I used, please don't hesitate to email me. Til next time...Enjoy your day, have a great week and I'll see you when I see you!
