Have A Question On How I Did Something? PLEASE READ!

I love to share what knowledge I have. I'm finding it more and more difficult to respond to your questions because some of you are not leaving a way for me to contact you. I am not ignoring those of you who have questions, but the majority of the time no contact information is given so I am unable to respond to your inquiries. If you are serious about me answering the questions you ask and do not have a Blogger account with an email address linked to it, please leave your email address or email me with your question at knmic1012@aol.com and I will get back with you. If you email me, be sure to put "blog question" in the subject line so I won't think it's SPAM and delete it.

A Few More Christmas in July Cards

Good Morning...I hope everyone is having a great week. A BIG Welcome to my new followers. I'd love to see your work, but there isn't always a link to your blog when you sign up to be a follower. When you sign up to follow my blog, please leave a comment with your blog address so that I may visit you and become a followers as well.

I haven't had much crafting time, but I wanted to share with you the cards I've made since my last posting. I'm having so much fun doing Christmas cards and have a pretty good start on them. Hopefully I won't be overwhelmed come Christmas time...so keeping with the "Christmas in July" theme this is what I've come up with. We had the chance to spend some quality time with our good friends Kathi and Bob on Saturday. Kathi was able to take a look at our camera settings. The first two cards were taken after the adjustments...while not great, much better...at least the reds are not orange! I am sure with a few more adjustments it will be perfect! Thanks Kathi! Since I am pressed for time, I will keep the chit chat to a minimum but, if you need more information, you can always email me for the recipe or supplies used. I used Memory Box dies for the bird and the swirl for this first card, along with Peachy Keen holly stamps colored with Copics and Glossy Accents added ---
The tree on this card is a Quickutz die. I THINK the sentiment is from Inkadinkado that was heat embossed with gold embossing powder---
I love this "Deck the Hall" song sheet background and would love to share the link with you...however, I failed to save the web site...BUT I did save the picture to my computer. If you would like a copy, please email me. The image is from Mo's Digital Pencil.
This last card features a snowman die from Go Kreate with Cuttlebug embossing folders and a computer generated sentiment---
That's it for now...Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your day and have a wonderful week. See you next time!

More Christmas in July

Good Morning...Happy Friday! Here's a few more Christmas cards that I'd like to share with you. I am, once again really pressed for time, so this will be really short without a lot of chit chat, but let's face it most people only look at the pictures anyway. If you need more information or if you have questions on the recipe or the supplies I used, please don't hesitate to email me. I know these pictures are horrible, I've had to revert to our dinosaur of a camera until we can get to our good friend Kathi's to have her take a look at the settings on our SLR---

That's it for now...I hate to post and run but that has been my way of life lately. If you leave a comment, I'll be sure to stop by your blog this weekend to see what you've been up. Til then...Have a great weekend...see you next time!

Christmas In July

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you are having a great week! The words "thank you" just isn't enough to say how touched  I am for all the well wishes and prayers that you have sent for my mom. Your continued support means more than you will ever know. We met with the Oncologist and without going into details, it's not good. My mom's only option is chemo and I'm not sure she is strong enough, mentally or physically to withstand the treatment.

I had a few extra minutes this weekend to make a few cards and because I don't know what the future will bring at Christmas time, I wanted to get a head start. I will probably be working on Christmas cards every chance I get through the month of July. The pictures are horrible, there must be something wrong with the settings on the camera. Everything that is red...looks orange...grrr! This first card features a Penny Black image colored with Copics. The birds are sitting on holly leaves from Peachy Keen, also colored with Copics and Memory Box grapevine die---
The Cardinal on this card is a Heartfelt Creation stamp and die. The window is a Memory Box die and the "tree" under the acetate on the window is the infamous Martha Stewart branch punch---
This image is a Mo's Digital Pencil stamp colored with Copics and the layers under the image is Cuttlebug Swiss Dots and Snowflake embossing folders---
And finally a Penny Black image with a computer generated sentiment with a Scrapping Cottage holly die---
That's it for now...Thanks for stopping by. If you have a question on the recipe or supplies that I have used in my posting today, please feel free to email me. Enjoy your day and have a wonderful week...I'll see you next time!
