Happy Valentine's Day

Good Morning Everyone! My gosh, it's good to be back home. We had a wonderful trip but no matter how nice it was, it's always great to be back home to sleep in your own bed. I've missed everyone terribly! Today's card features those lovable Love Birds along with the sentiment from The All About Valentine's Day Printable Stamps from The Cutting Cafe. I'm not real happy with the way the picture turned out, it's a bit darker than what it is in real life, and as usual, I can't take a straight picture...LOL! Here's the recipe---
Card Size:A2
Stamp/Image: Cutting Cafe-All About Valentine's Day
Nestibilities: Heart/ScallopHeart, Ribbon Tag
Cuttlebug: HSN Romance Collection
Sentiment: Cutting Cafe-All About Valentine's Day
Accessories: Ribbon, Glitter, Foam Pop Dots

That's it for today. I'm going to try to visit my favorite blogs this morning but if I don't get a chance to visit you, I'll be back through out the day to see what you've been up to. Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your day!

I'm Going To Be The Grandma Of TWINS!

I'm still in a state of shock! Last night we got together with both of my sons and their families. It was so nice to have everyone together. I have really missed that since my oldest son has moved away. It has been 3 years now but seems a lot longer. As we were finishing up with dinner, my 3 year old grandson made the announcement that his mommy was going to have 2 babies! I knew that my son and daughter in law were going to be trying to have another baby but I thought he was referring to himself as one of the babies! When she asked if we understood what he was saying, I said that I thought so, that she was going to have another baby. My grandson set us straight by saying that she had 2 babies in her belly. They wanted to wait until we had gotten home to make the announcement so everyone was told at the same time but because you can't tell a 3 year old to keep a secret, we were the first to know. I am thrilled but still in a state of shock! They will be leaving to go back to Orlando this morning and we will be leaving tomorrow. We have had a a wonderful trip and will be taking our time going back making a few stops along the way. I am hopeful to be back crafting by mid week so be sure to stop back.

The Winner Of The Cutting Cafe Give Away Is....

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! We are having a BLAST! We are in the tiny town of Mayberry, within the city of Mount Airy, NC for those of you that are old enough to remember Andy Griffith...what a quaint little town where the people are SO friendly! With the exception of yesterday, we have had BEAUTIFUL weather. We will be traveling north to pop in on my father-in-law to take him to lunch at the ever famous Macado's in Galax, VA. Sorry Olga, we are just passing through, we will catch up with you next time! Then it's off to Gatlinburg, TN where we will team up with our good friends Kathi and Bob until Thursday. The night before we left Orlando, we had dinner with my youngest son, he has managed to get a few days off and will be visiting my oldest son who lives in Dandridge, TN (just between Knoxville and Gatlinbug, TN) so we will be meeting up with them as well...How cool is that? I am sure I've told you more than you care to know so without further ado...the winner of the Cutting Cafe Give Away is - - - - -
#21---Shelley Evetts! Congratulations Shelley, if you will send your email address to me at knmic1012@aol.com I will get the Cutting Cafe Valentine Big Stuff Printable Stamp right out to you! I know the postings for the "give away" shows 55 comments but someone added a comment AFTER I did the drawing. Thanks so much to everyone that has played along, it has been so much fun!

Thanks for stopping by today, we should be back in Orlando sometime next week so I will resume regular postings then. I'm going to ATTEMPT to visit my favorite blogs this morning while my husband is snoring up a storm but the Internet connection here is VERY slow and may not get to everyone, so if I don't get a chance to visit, I will when we get home. Until then... Happy Crafting...enjoy your day!

Have A Tea-rific Valentine Birthday

Good Morning Everyone! Happy Wednesday to you. Thanks for stopping by. Today's card is for my sister-in-law whose birthday is on Valentines Day and is a quickie. She collect teapots so I thought this image would be great for her. I'm still not feeling well and have SO much to do to get ready for our trip at the end of the week. I really don't have time for crafting much less time to not feel well. I went to the doctor yesterday which is something I try to avoid, but because I spent the last 3 days coughing uncontrollably I thought I'd better. He gave me an antibiotic, a steroid pack and a very strong cough syrup that makes me loopy. And you thought it was just my normal state of mind...LOL!
Here's the recipe---
Card Size:A2
Stamp/Image: Art4Craft Clip Art
Nestibilities: Petite Oval/Scallop
Cuttlebug: Swiss Dot
Punch: Martha Stewart Doily Hearts Border Punch , Spellbinder Tag

Accessories: Ribbon, Glitter (a tiny bit on the flowers on the teapot and cup),Foam Pop Dots

That's it for today, I'm off to through a load of laundry in the washer before we take the dogs to the groomer...I can't say for sure if I'll be back tomorrow but I'd like to get a few more cards done before our trip. Enjoy your day!

If you would leave me a comment, hopefully I can reciprocate by visiting your blog, if you have one.

Here are a couple of Valentine cards I did for my granddaughters. In My Heart Always

Good Morning Everyone...I hope you are having a great day. I am so happy you stopped by! Come on in...Take a look around and don't forget if you see something that you like, please take a moment to leave me a comment! For all of you that have have been kind enough to leave comments, thank you so much, you have no idea what they mean to me. Your comments are really a source of inspiration to me!

The other day while I was cleaning up my craftroom, I had come across some mulberry paper that I had gotten ages ago and thought I'd use it to make this little bear. I haven't done anything with The Cutting Cafe Printable stamps since before Christmas so I thought I'd do something with the new files before Regina fires me...LOL! I used the Valentine Long Phrases for this card. The set has 10 assorted phrases and great for cards, scrapbook pages and more! If you haven't been to The Cutting Cafe lately, you are in for a real treat! Regina has been as busy as she can be coming up with some really awesome stamps for Valentine's Day! I have been making cards for a little over a year now but it was Valentine's Day that really started my journey, I have gone full circle through all the holidays and I have to say without a doubt, Valentine's Day is my favorite! This is my first Tear Bear and I hope to get more creative as time allows. Here is the recipe---Card Size: A2
Paper Piecing: Mulberry Torn Paper
Image: Bear Head with Paws
Nestabilities: Heart/Scallop
Cuttlebug: Love Language Card Making Combo
Punches: Fiskars Threading Water Edge, Fiskars Corner Heart Punch (background hearts)Sentiment: Cutting Cafe Valentine Long Phrases
Accessories: Ribbon, Chalk, Gel Pen, Foam Pop Dots

I used various punches for the bears face including the ovals from The Marvy Small Paw, the center of The Marvy Medium Flora for the eyes, Go Kreate Boo Bear for the nose and circle left over from the Fiskars Threading Water Edge punch for the mouth.

That's it for today...Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your day!!

Whoo Thanks You...We Do!

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a great New Year weekend! We had a wonderful weekend but especially great New Year's Day. We were invited to my sister-in-laws for a traditional New Year's dinner...anytime I can get away with not cooking is great BUT it was exceptional! We ate SO much, we didn't dare get on the scale Saturday morning! Here is a little thank you card I made for them. The picture doesn't show the true colors, the paper and owls are really much bolder in real life. I also used clear embossing powder on the eyes and pop dotted them but you can't really tell that either. I know if Kathi is looking in, she is going to say...Why don't you use your Canon SLR instead of that dinosaur of a camera that I use? Well Kathi...I'm waiting for you to give me lessons on how to use it...LOL!
Here's the recipe---
Card Size: A2
MCPT: Prismacolor/OMS
Stamps/Image: Stampavie
Nestabilities: Pettiite Oval/Scallop
Punches: Fiskars Threading Water Border
Font: Computer generated-Peach Fuzz
Accessories: Ribbon, Clear Embossing Powder, Glitter, Rain Dots, Heart Charm, Foam Pop Dots

That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy for visit. Please take a moment to leave a comment, I'd love to hear from you!
