A Few Quick and Easy Easter/Spring Cards

Good Morning! I want to take this opportunity to welcome my new followers and to thank all of my loyal blogger friends for their continued support. I have met so many wonderful people from all over the world through my blogging and have to say that I am am truly blessed to have such a loyal following. Here are a few more Easter cards that I'd like to share with you. This first one uses the Tulip Pendant and Border from Spellbinders. We have all gotten things that we just had to have but once we've gotten them, we have said "what was I thinking" Well this is one of those---

I needed a few quick and easy Easter cards without a lot of embellishment that would fit into a regular A2 size envelope and could be dropped in the mailbox without making a trip to the post office. These next 2 fit the bill. I've used the Spellbinder Cross Collection for both---

Here's a card I didn't include with my St Patrick's Day cards a few weeks ago. It's for our good friends and Disney enthusiast Kathi and Bob. Some St. Patrick's Day Cards

Good Evening everyone! I know I usually post in the morning but I'm going to be a little bit busy tomorrow so here I am with 2 postings tonight. I've been working on St. Patrick's Day and Easter cards and thought that I would group them separately. I am done with my St. Patrick's Day cards (thank goodness...I really had a tough time with them) but have 2 more to post, after the recipient receives them--- The other day I was doing what I do best and that is shopping on line. One of the sites that I shop with frequently is Custom Crops and had come across this Cricut cut file done sometime ago from my good blogger friend Donna. When I seen the file, I remembered this cute little Irish Blessing and since I am having such a tough time coming up with my St Patrick's Day cards, I had to team them up. As usual, the picture didn't turn out well, I always have trouble with greens and purples but you get the idea. You can find the cut file by clicking here. Autumn Blessings

Good Morning Everyone! Here's a couple of cards I did for the twins using colored clip art that I decoupaged. I didn't notice until I had finished them and only because my husband pointed it out that the sign "Autumn Blessings" that the scarecrow is holding has an apostrophe when it shouldn't. I'll have to fix it but not certain how I'm going to do it since I pierced and pop dotted the scarecrow's hands to thread the craft yarn through them, so it would involve taking the whole card apart. I can't believe that I over looked it...must be a case where you can't see the forest for the trees. Anyway, here they are. If I can't figure out a way to "save" them, I'll end up doing them over without the sign. I thought about putting a crow on the sign where the apostrophe is. If anyone has a suggestion I'd love to hear it--- Here's The Recipe---

Halloween Pluto

Bon Voyage

Good Morning Everyone! I'm so happy you stopped by today, I hope you enjoy your visit as much as I enjoy you visiting! Please take a moment to say hello. Your comments are truly appreciated and such a source of inspiration to me! My husband and I really enjoyed the day yesterday and decided to do this more often. By the looks of my sidebar, you all have been very busy and it's going to take me a while to play catch up.
Our good friends Kathi and Bob will be going on a Disney Mediterranean Cruise next week and we wanted to wish them a Bon Voyage. I had come across the image of the Mickey Ears with a Captains Wheel and since I hadn't done anything for them using Donald Duck, I thought it would be perfect for the occasion. Here is the card I sent them. I cut the Mickey Ears and Captains Wheel with my Bosskut and colored the Donald Duck image with my Copic markers. I used my Cricut Mickey and Friends cartridge for the anchors. The background paper is also a freebie if you look close you will see the hidden Mickeys. Two For Tuesday...A Day Late!

Good Morning...Happy Humpday! Here's a couple of cards that I wanted to post yesterday and call it Two For Tuesday but because I wasn't sure that the recipients had received them I thought I had better wait. They are for our good friends Kathi and Bob. I knew when Bob's birthday was and when I was making his, I realized that I hadn't made one for Kathi because I didn't know when her birthday was. This is the one I sent Kathi with a note saying to accept this as either an early or belated card vowing to get it right next year. While I call them the Disney enthusiast, I really think that it's Kathi and Bob tinkers in trains

This one is for Kathi. Made with Disney Clip art, I used Copic markers for her face and paper pieced her bow and dress. It didn't photograph well, it looks a bit washed out---

Mickey 4th of July Joy Fold

Good Morning All...Thanks for stopping by! Here is a card I sent to our good friends Kathi and Bob...the Disney enthusiasts. It's a joy fold card that didn't photograph well at all. The paper I used has bits of mica in it that really shows up in the photo making it look grainy, but in real life has a very fine glittery look and the blue layer is a shimmer paper that looks very washed out...not the real color at all. I don't know why sometimes the paper photographs well and sometimes it doesn't...this time it didn't--- Here is the recipe---

Good Morning Everyone...are you as ready for the weekend as I am? It's been a long week! At my age you don't want wish your days away but I thought Friday would never get here! Here is a Thank You card we sent to our good friends Kathi and Bob for taking us to dinner. It's always nice to get together with them but the food at Ciao Italia was superb, dining at it's finest here in in Orlando. Good food, good company, it just doesn't get much better! I told her when she emailed us to thank us for their thank you card that she was SO funny but I had fun making it. I have to admit it's getting to be more and more of a challenge not to repeat myself..but I love a good challenge. Don't you love it when the paper makes the card and all you have to do is add a focal point...and of course it had to be Mickey---

Have A Tea-rific Valentine Birthday

Good Morning Everyone! Happy Wednesday to you. Thanks for stopping by. Today's card is for my sister-in-law whose birthday is on Valentines Day and is a quickie. She collect teapots so I thought this image would be great for her. I'm still not feeling well and have SO much to do to get ready for our trip at the end of the week. I really don't have time for crafting much less time to not feel well. I went to the doctor yesterday which is something I try to avoid, but because I spent the last 3 days coughing uncontrollably I thought I'd better. He gave me an antibiotic, a steroid pack and a very strong cough syrup that makes me loopy. And you thought it was just my normal state of mind...LOL!
