Have A Question On How I Did Something? PLEASE READ!

I love to share what knowledge I have. I'm finding it more and more difficult to respond to your questions because some of you are not leaving a way for me to contact you. I am not ignoring those of you who have questions, but the majority of the time no contact information is given so I am unable to respond to your inquiries. If you are serious about me answering the questions you ask and do not have a Blogger account with an email address linked to it, please leave your email address or email me with your question at knmic1012@aol.com and I will get back with you. If you email me, be sure to put "blog question" in the subject line so I won't think it's SPAM and delete it.

Happy Card Making Day!

Good Morning Everyone! Happy Card Making Day! I know I've been a really bad blogger and it has been awhile since I have posted to my blog. I'm not going to make excuses...I just haven't had the luxury of time to spend on the Internet. I'd like to share the cards I have made since my last posting. I wasn't going to make Thanksgiving cards this year but changed my mind. Here are some of them. This is such a large posting, I don't have the time to list the supplies that I used but if you need more information...please don't hesitate to email me---
I wanted a quick and easy card to send to friends for Thanksgiving that wouldn't require a trip to the post office to mail---
My grandson is having a tough time adjusting to 1st grade. When he saw his kindergarten teacher at the book fair, he asked me to make a card for her. He knew he wanted it done in her favorite color, hot pink, a zebra, her favorite animal and he wanted it to say he missed her---
A dear friend just got out of the hospital, here is the card I'm going to send---
A blogger friend wanted me to make a few cards. I know you are probably tired of seeing tear bears, this will be the last one...until the next one---
She wanted an A2 card like I sent my mom a while back, so if it looks like you've seen it before, it is because you have. It's an A2 version rather the the 5x5 that I sent my mom---
She also wanted a Halloween card for her grandson to give his teacher. It's been a while since I've done a topper and thought this would work---
My brother in law retired on his birthday...what better time to wish him not only a happy birthday and a happy retirement, but a happy everything---
And while I'm posting the cards since my last posting, I thought I'd also post these cards I did awhile ago but just haven't posted them---
That's it for now. Again...since this is just a large posting, I didn't post any information but If you need the recipe or supplies I used, please don't hesitate to email me. I'll try to visit my favorite blogs this weekend to see what everyone's been up to. Til next time, enjoy your day and have a great weekend!

Miss You

Good Morning Everyone! As always, I'm so happy you stopped by to visit! Today's card is just a quickie topper card to send to my father-in-law. When we got ready to leave Virginia, he got really choked up and has called many times since we have been back, in fact, yesterday he called 3 times!

The Stamps By Judith was colored with Prisma pencils 3 times, cut and pop dotted 3 times to give a 3D look then layered on a circle scallop Nestibility that I added glossy accents to the claws, rain hearts and doodle dots to the back ground so it didn't look so plain. I pierced the inner layer of the Nestibility with a paper piercer. The back ground paper of the base card was embossed with the Love Language embossing folder and the sentiment was cut from Cuttlebug Typewriter Alphabet die. I added a bow ribbon and called it a day!

That's it for today, thanks for stopping by, if you haven't already, leave a comment to let me know what you think! I hope to see you back tomorrow, have a great day!

Missing You

Good Morning and Happy Saturday. I usually don't post on the weekend but I had made this card yesterday and didn't get a chance to post it. It was inspired by my good blooger friend Migdalia. She asked how I had left a space for writing on the "Beary 4 Card Set" and even though the embossing folders I had used had the open space, I had forgotten all about the technique to leave the space. This embossing folder is one of my favorites and decided to use it on this card that I'm going to send to my granddaughter. Let me know what you think---
I colored the Angel's Landing digital stamp image with Prisma pencils and OMS then layered it on a circle/scallop Nestibility and added a craft yarn bow to the bear's head, rain hearts and a ribbon bow to the Nestibility that was pierced with a paper piercer on the scallops. Her name was computer generated. The background layer was embossed with Cuttlebug Love Language combo set embossing folder and Scor Pal was used for the lines. The missing you sentiment was cut from the Cuttlebug Friends Forever combo set. Heart buttons with craft yarn threaded through the holes and tied in a bow were added. That's it for today. If you enjoy your visit, leave a comment or sign my guest book. See you on Monday, hope you have a great weekend!

Wanna Know A Secret?

Good Evening Bloggers. I will not be available for most of the day tomorrow, my husband who has suffered terribly with 2 herniated disc in his back is having cortisone treatments tomorrow so I wanted to post this card that I made tonight. It was cut from Cricut Wild Card Doily at 5 inch. The image is Stampendous Bee Secret, it was colored with Prisma pencils and OMS then layered on a Nestibility circle/scallop. Glitter was added to the wings and glossy accents added to the circles on the body, feet and antenna. I added a few heart shaped brads. The flowers around the edge of the card were punched with Fiskars flower punch and flat back pearls were added to the centers. Check out the bow...can't tell you how I made all the words come out right side up on ALL the loops and tails but with some twisting and turning it did. I'd bet I couldn't do it again! Words are computer generated and the inside reads---"We Bee Missin' and Lovin' You Too!" I'm going to send this to my 4 year old granddaughter. My son and his family moved from Florida to Tennessee 2 1/2 years and I STILL miss them terribly. My son can stay up there...just send the kids back to Florida...LOL (only kidding)! Have a great evening and I'll catch up with you soon.
