Autumn Blessings

Good Morning Everyone! Here's a couple of cards I did for the twins using colored clip art that I decoupaged. I didn't notice until I had finished them and only because my husband pointed it out that the sign "Autumn Blessings" that the scarecrow is holding has an apostrophe when it shouldn't. I'll have to fix it but not certain how I'm going to do it since I pierced and pop dotted the scarecrow's hands to thread the craft yarn through them, so it would involve taking the whole card apart. I can't believe that I over looked it...must be a case where you can't see the forest for the trees. Anyway, here they are. If I can't figure out a way to "save" them, I'll end up doing them over without the sign. I thought about putting a crow on the sign where the apostrophe is. If anyone has a suggestion I'd love to hear it--- Here's The Recipe---
Card Size: 5"x5" Square
Decoupage
Stamp/Image: Clip Art-Digi Scrap Kit-Autumn Scarecrow 2
Nestibilities: Lacey Circle, Circle
Punch: EK Corner Rounder
Font: Computer Generated-Pupcat
Accessories: Ribbon, Craft Yarn, Glossy Accents, Foam Pop Dots
Base Cardstock: Bazzill
Patterned Paper: DCWV-Holiday Collection-The Christmas Stack 12x12
Other Paper/Cardstock: Stampin' Up Kraft, Gold Mirror

That's it for today...Thanks for stopping by. Hope to see you again tomorrow. Til then, enjoy your day!

Oh my absolutely stunning cards.

Kelly these are just adorable, how about taking 2 stripes of coordinating paper and run the "Autumn Blessings" through your printer. It would give it a little touch of more color and dimension? Hugs

These are so cute Kelly! Yeah I would not take them apart to fix that apostrophy either. What about a little sunflower or tiny button to cover it up? Hope this helped! :) Tracy

Dear Kelly,

These cards are beautiful!! I love them. I think the way to go is definitely a little crow on the apostrophe.

I was thinking the same thing, the twins won't notice, LOL. But I know as a perfectionist it'll bug the crap out of you. Any of the ideas have been great. Do what's easiest. These are adorable!!! I love how you're doing all of the twins cards, the same, yet different. xxD

Kelly - First of all, the cards are precious, what a keepsake! I don't know how the "sign" is made but I was thinking you could use your artistic talent to "weather" the board. Maybe draw a knot where the apostrophe is and pick another spot, then add some cracks to weather it a bit. Again, I don't know if this is possible but they're too perfect to not save them. I like the tiny flower idea or leaves. Maybe a ladybug?

Oh my goodness, Kelly... these are just cuter than cute! It sounds like an awful lot of work for one silly apostrophe. What if you just make two more signs and snip off the jagged edges and then put it on top of the existing, sort of like a layer? Sorry... that's all I've got! LOL!
