Good Morning Everyone! I hope you are having a fabulous weekend! I know...I don't usually post on the weekend and almost never ever on a Sunday but I was SO excited when Regina said we would be doing a give away for The Cutting Cafe to welcome the new Design Team members...I just couldn't wait to post this! I had a hard time deciding which of her fabulous files to use but since I have been pressed for time lately and had to do a birthday card for our dear friend Eduardo, I chose one of my MANY favorites...Up Up In The Sky Wishes. This is an awesome set...it feature over 120 images and sentiment from kites to hot air balloons to regular balloons...the set also includes some colored images. It is the same set I used back in May, when the card I made was a favorite pick of the week on SCS! This posting brings me much sadness. My term with The Cutting Cafe is up so it will be the last posting as a member of the Design Team. I've been with Regina on and off since August of 2009. Regina has been very good to me and she has always made me feel appreciated for the job I have done for her. I truly feel blessed to have been a part of The Cutting Cafe's Design Team. To say that I will miss her is a HUGE understatement!

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! Did anyone missed me while I had taken a little break last week? The truth of the matter is, I've been very busy lately, I don't have much time to breathe, let alone craft. For the next few months my postings will be a little erratic. Back To School-Cutting Cafe

Good Morning and Happy Monday! Thanks for stopping by...I hope you had a great weekend! When Regina said the theme for The Cutting Cafe Blog this week would be "back to school" I knew I was going to have fun! I had 3 cards to do but never realized there are SO many files to choose from! Dress Shaped Card-Cutting Cafe

Good Morning Everyone. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. If yours was anything like mine, it was much too short! I had a wonderful week but it was very busy!  This week Regina asked us to use one of the two dress shaped templates available at The Cutting Cafe. I chose The Dress Shape Card 2 Template-Cutting File. This  cutting file is approx. 4 by 5 inches and comes with  matching envelope template, several embellishments for the dress, a dress split (to add a different color or pattern to the bottom or top half), 2 insert sheets (Party time invite and for the birthday girl). and comes in WPC, PDF and SVG formats---

Here's a birthday card I made for my brother in law using The Cutting Cafe's Clock Background Printable Stamp Set and the It's About That Time Set for the clock and sentiment. I had to make this card an odd size in order to make the panels line up properly. For the clock hands I used Spellbinder Timeless Heritage and set the time at 8:17...his birthday August 17th...pretty nifty wouldn't you say? It was my husbands idea so I really have to give him credit---

Don't Forget I Love You-Cutting Cafe

Good Morning Everyone. I hope you had a great weekend. It was a busy one for me. My youngest son and daughter in law had a combined birthday party for my grandson Kenny Michael who turned 5 July 15th and the twins, Nathaniel and Jeremiah who will be 1 on July 26th. There were 38 people there so I don't have to tell you how crazy it was but it was nice to see people that we hadn't seen since the last family event. We had gorgeous weather and a good time was had by all! Here is a card I made for my husband's daughter that has had some issues going on in her life and I thought she needed to know that her dad loved her. The picture didn't turn out very clear and I couldn't understand why...we found out yesterday that the setting on the camera had been changed but since the card was already sent, I wasn't able to take another picture. I used the Cutting Cafe's Animal and Bug Mini Colored Circle Set. This is an awesome set that comes with 47 images. The word circles come in 2 sizes and the set also comes with each of the animals and bugs all by themselves. It also comes with the backgrounds and 9 solid color circles. How cool is that, Regina has done all the work for you. All you have to do is print, cut and embellish and it's done!!! I added a tag from The Valentine's Day Mini Word Set. For the back, I reduce the size of the elephant and added it to the Handmade Just For You Circle that Regina customized with my blog address that I recolored to match the paper---

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday Everyone! I hope you are having a good week. For those of you not new to my blog, you know that my mom spends the Summers in Ohio with my aunt and when Winter comes they come back to Florida. They are what we in Florida call "snowbirds" A couple weeks ago, she called and every word that came from her mouth was a complaint...geesh I hope I never get old...lol! It was about the same time Regina with The Cutting Cafe came out with a new printable stamp set called You Make Me Smile. The set comes with 6 smiley faces in 2 sizes, 5 circle words in 2 sizes,8 sentiments and 2 smiley face borders. Thanks a TON-Cutting Cafe

Good Morning Everyone! Happy Wednesday...I hope you are having a great week! Here's the Thank You card I made to send to my son and daughter in law from my husband for his Father's Day gifts. I used The Cutting Cafe's Elephant Shaped Card template cutting file. As with ALL of Regina's digital stamps and templates, it was so EASY to put together. I used my Bosskut Gazelle but for those of you that don't have a Bosscut or a Pazzles cutting machine, in addition to the WPC format that I used, the file also comes in PDF and SVG formats. The set comes with a matching envelope and 5 sentiments...the sentiments come on a tag and by themselves The card is approximately 5 by 4.5 inches. You can't tell from the photo, but I used ScorTape on the upper portion of the ear then pop dotted the lower portion so it would stand off the card---

Let's Go For A Ride-Cutting Cafe

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you are having a great week! We had dinner with my son and daughter in law last night...my goodness how the twins have grown. Do you believe they will be 1 year old next month? Where does the time go when you are crafting? I knew I wasn't going to have a lot of time for crafting this week, so I turned to The Cutting Cafe for help. I used the Let's Go For A Ride printable stamp set. This set is awesome and comes with 42 images and sentiments. It went together so quick and easy. When I say quick, I mean REALLY quick. It took me maybe all of 15 minutes to put it together and that was with the time it took me to find my yarn threader to secure the button. It actually took me more time to take the picture and upload it here to my blog. Have I mentioned how much I love Regina and The Cutting Cafe?

Happy Father's Day To A Real Classic-Cutting Cafe

Good Morning Everyone! Happy June 1st! Thanks for stopping by. I hope you are having a great week! Here's a couple of cards I did for The Monthly Inspiration over at The Cutting Cafe using the Cruisin By To Say Hi Printable Stamp Set. This is an AWESOME set that comes with 98 images that features 3 different cars in 3 different sizes. Each car also comes in black and white as well as a few fun colors.The set also comes with 14 sentiments in 3 ways...Straight and circle words. I have to admit when Regina told the Design Team what set we would be using this month, I had no idea what I was going to do, but I knew I had to make a couple of Father's Day cards so I thought I would use the set for them. I had so much fun with this set and they came together so quickly, but that is no surprise, all of The Cutting Cafe's files are so quick and easy. Regina has done all the work for you---

This is a HUGE set that comes with over 120 images and sentiments from kites to hot air balloons to regular balloons...the set also includes some colored images--- Here is a side view that shows the balloon popped. Craft yarn was added to the top layer between the balloon and the basket---

Hey Cupcake-Cutting Cafe

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you are having a great week! Each month Regina with The Cutting Cafe posts a "Monthly Inspiration" for your viewing pleasure. Here is my contribution for this months Design Team project showcasing cupcakes! Regina will be posting the Design Team's project 5/15 so be sure to check the Cutting Cafe for a yummy taste of inspiration along with a chance to win 3 files from The Cutting Cafe. I will post a reminder on 5/15. I had so much fun making this card using the Cupcake Printable Stamp Set 1 that features a 4 Piece set of CUPCAKES that is already formatted for you to create 4 cards quickly. Because my card is a 4.25 square note card I printed mine at 70%. For the background, I used the Hey Cupcake from the Cupcake Background Printable Stamps. For those of you that are not new to my blog, you know how I LOVE The Cutting Cafe's Background Stamps. The background is a little larger then 6 by 6 inches but can also be reduced in size (as I did here) and comes with 2 sentiments, the one I used and a circle word sentiments that can be punched out using a 1.5 inch circle punch.---Here is the recipe---

Mom-I Love You-Cutting Cafe

Good Morning...Happy Humpday! I hope you are having a great week! Here is the Mother's Day card I made for my mom using The Cutting Cafe's Mom I Love You Text and the Holiday Tag Set. Because I reduced the size to fit in the Nestibility heart, the photo may not pick up the text inside of the letters but in real life it shows the I love you within the letters perfectly. The file unedited comes in three colors and the images are approx. 4.5 by 1 inch---

Don't Be Alarmed...

Good Morning Everyone...Happy Friday! I hope you have had a great week! I had fully intended to get back with you before this to share some exciting news, but my father in law passed away this past week and things have been crazy. As it turns out, Regina with The Cutting Cafe didn't make the announcement until last night so it's just as well. Can you guess what the news is? Yep...I'll be returning to the Cutting Cafe as a member of the Design Team after what seems like an eternity when in reality it has only be 4 months. I am SO excited! I have missed Regina terribly. I will be posting as I have done in the past 4 months with the exception of each week when I post something for The Cutting Cafe, I will be posting it by itself and will give the recipe with the list of supplies I have used. I officially don't start until May 1st but when Regina told us to "Go Shopping" for files, I couldn't resist this Alarm Clock Shaped card. The set comes with 2 circle words, 2 extra clocks and 6 sentiments and comes in WPC, PDF & SVG format. So....without further ado, here is the card I made---
