Have A Question On How I Did Something? PLEASE READ!

I love to share what knowledge I have. I'm finding it more and more difficult to respond to your questions because some of you are not leaving a way for me to contact you. I am not ignoring those of you who have questions, but the majority of the time no contact information is given so I am unable to respond to your inquiries. If you are serious about me answering the questions you ask and do not have a Blogger account with an email address linked to it, please leave your email address or email me with your question at knmic1012@aol.com and I will get back with you. If you email me, be sure to put "blog question" in the subject line so I won't think it's SPAM and delete it.

Happy Card Making Day!

Good Morning Everyone! Happy Card Making Day! I know I've been a really bad blogger and it has been awhile since I have posted to my blog. I'm not going to make excuses...I just haven't had the luxury of time to spend on the Internet. I'd like to share the cards I have made since my last posting. I wasn't going to make Thanksgiving cards this year but changed my mind. Here are some of them. This is such a large posting, I don't have the time to list the supplies that I used but if you need more information...please don't hesitate to email me---
I wanted a quick and easy card to send to friends for Thanksgiving that wouldn't require a trip to the post office to mail---
My grandson is having a tough time adjusting to 1st grade. When he saw his kindergarten teacher at the book fair, he asked me to make a card for her. He knew he wanted it done in her favorite color, hot pink, a zebra, her favorite animal and he wanted it to say he missed her---
A dear friend just got out of the hospital, here is the card I'm going to send---
A blogger friend wanted me to make a few cards. I know you are probably tired of seeing tear bears, this will be the last one...until the next one---
She wanted an A2 card like I sent my mom a while back, so if it looks like you've seen it before, it is because you have. It's an A2 version rather the the 5x5 that I sent my mom---
She also wanted a Halloween card for her grandson to give his teacher. It's been a while since I've done a topper and thought this would work---
My brother in law retired on his birthday...what better time to wish him not only a happy birthday and a happy retirement, but a happy everything---
And while I'm posting the cards since my last posting, I thought I'd also post these cards I did awhile ago but just haven't posted them---
That's it for now. Again...since this is just a large posting, I didn't post any information but If you need the recipe or supplies I used, please don't hesitate to email me. I'll try to visit my favorite blogs this weekend to see what everyone's been up to. Til next time, enjoy your day and have a great weekend!

Happy Retirement...Again!

Good Morning and Happy Humpday to you! Whew...what a week it has been. We said our goodbyes to my Aunt, my cousin and my mom yesterday. There wasn't a dry eye in the house. Several weeks ago, my husband learned his previous boss, Bob would be retiring at the end of the month. Even though my husband was forced to retire because of his bad back and the surgery he had last June, he stays in contact with the people he worked with for 3o+ years. Bob had retired in November of 1998. Because of some bad decisions made by the management that replaced him, the company went through some severe financial difficulties. The investors asked Bob to come out of retirement to resume his previous position. Now that the company is back on solid ground, Bob has decided to make his retirement permanent. This is the card I made for him. I used The Cutting Cafe's Happy Retirement Huge Circle as the main focal point then added the computer generated circle with his dates of service and the word "Again"---
Here is the recipe---
Card Size: 5"x5" Square
Stamps/Image: Cutting Cafe-Happy Retirement Huge Circle
Nestibilities: Circle, Square
Font: Computer Generated-Constantia
Accessories: Brads, Embroidery Floss, Foam Pop Dots

That's it for today. Thank for stopping by! I'm taking the day off tomorrow so I won't be back until Friday, hope to see you then. Enjoy your day!
