Halloween BINGO-The Cutting Cafe

Happy Humpday! I hope you are having a great week! I'm not big into sending my grandkids candy for Halloween. I was SO excited when Regina from The Cutting Cafe came up with this Halloween BINGO Set. Isn't it awesome! I had so much fun making it too! The set features 8 different colored BINGO cards that are are approximately 4.5 by 5 inches with all the words for the cards that can be punched out using a 1"circle punch (that's a LOT of punching but so worth the effort) and 6 BINGO sentiments. As a bonus there is a sheet of each of the bingo cards reduced in size to approx. 2 "by 2.5". I used a 3/4" circle punch for the chips but you could use buttons or other fun embellishments. I also used the 8" x 5.5" box template with dividers that is perfect for holding all the pieces and makes a nice gift set. The box template comes with a plain top or a top with a window (which is the one I used), dividers and 2 window frames which I opted not to use because it would cover the witch on the designer paper---
Here is the set boxed and ready to go. It didn't photograph well, I had to take the picture without the flash to prevent flashback from the acetate on the window, The paper is much brighter in real life---
Here is the recipe---

That's it for today. I still haven't caught up on visitng my favorite blog but hopefully I will be able to today! I won't be posting anything tomorrow but I hope to see you back on Friday. Enjoy your day!

Cutting Cafe Give Away-Note Pad Set

Good Morning Everyone...Happy Monday...and what a Happy Monday it is! The Cutting Cafe hasn't done a give away for a while so you know I was excited when Regina said we would be doing a give away this week! Regina has been SUPER busy... if you haven't been to The Cutting Cafe lately you are in for a real treat! She has added dozens of files in the last few weeks and if you have been wanting to do a word book, The Cutting Cafe is the place to go! Regina has done a word book for just about every possible project you could imagine and her files are SO easy to use!
Up for grabs is The Line Paper Note Pad Set AND The Pencil Shaped Card Templates. The Note Pad Set comes with a folder that has a flap inside and when closed is 4.75 x 6 inches. The lined paper comes in 5 colors with an envelope template to match. The line paper is approx. 4 x 5.5 inches and when the paper is folded in half, it will fit perfectly inside the envelope! It makes a really nice set for gift giving. I used the Pencil Shaped Card Template at 75% to decorate the folder but the template full sized is approx. 2.5 by 6 inches and comes with a matching envelope....the set also has 4 sentiments! I had SO much fun with this project and all you have to do to be eligible to win these sets is leave a comment here on my blog before 11:59 PM (EDT) Thursday, August 12th. The winner will be chosen using random.org and announced the morning of Friday, August 13th. Although I appreciate those of you that in the past have left comments by signing my guestbook, there is NO way I can put your name into the drawing! You MUST leave a comment here on my blog! In addition, the winner will receive the project I created using these fabulous sets. Be sure to check out the other Design Team Members blogs (listed on the sidebar to the right) to see if they are participating in the give away! Here is my project with a face on view when closed--- Here is another angle of my project when closed---
And here it is opened...Let me share with you something Regina did with her line paper that I didn't do but will give it a try. After she cut the paper (they come 2 to a page) she stacked them on top of one another adding glue just at the top...after they were glued together, she wrapped some matching card stock on the top and then added it to the folder...pretty cool...huh?

Tiny Holiday Boxes-Cutting Cafe Give Away

These boxes were done with the Cutting Cafe Tiny Box with Sentiments Set. It was out of my comfort zone but I had so much fun making them and they can be used for all sorts of things. I have tried other boxes before but they never came out right. I ended up cutting on lines that should have been folded and folding on lines that should have been cut but Regina has made these SO easy to do, if I can do it ANYONE can!

For the Halloween box I used various cuts from The CuttleBug 3 x 3 Halloween die, added googly eyes and a ribbon bow.

For the Christmas box, I printed the sentiment "goodie goodie gumdrops" in the circle form then cut it with a circle Nestibility and added it to the tag cut with Cuttlebug Babyface Alphabet Set, attached with craft yarn and added it to the ribbon bow.

For the Autumn box, I re colored and printed the sentiment "a little something just for you" in the line form then cut it using a Stampin Up Word Window punch then added it to the leaves that were cut with Cuttlebug Leaf set that the edges were inked and used gold tone elastic cord for the bow.
Each box measures a little over 1.5 inch square

To be eligible to win this set, make sure you leave me a comment. The drawing will be held Friday 10/9 . The winner will be chosen using http://www.random.org/ and announced that morning. Good Luck!
