School Is Out

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend and everyone had a nice Easter. I've not been on the Internet much this past week, I've got a ton on unanswered emails and I haven't visited my favorite blogs. I won't have a chance to today but I promise before the week is out, I'll get to it. It's almost that time of year again...for most people, summer vacation will begin next month and school will be out for the kids. Here's a couple of quick cards that I'll be sending to my granddaughters that live in Tennessee next month. This first one is a 4.25 x 4.25 square note card that I used the ever famous Bugaboo Digital Stamp image. I colored it with Copic Markers, paper pieced the dress and popped the image on the crayon. It reminded me so much of my oldest granddaughter, Kayli . If you hadn't noticed, I have added a picture of them to my sidebar. Now...I have to get after my youngest son to get me a picture of the boys---
This next one is for my middle granddaughter, Chloe. I used the Cricut Create a Critter cartridge and Cuttlebug balloon dies---
Here is a picture that my daughter in law sent me via email of a picture Chloe did in her art class. It's her rendition of Claude Monet's "Water Lily Pond". She is 6 years old and quite talented, wouldn't you say? Maybe she'll make another for Grandma to hang on the fridge---That's it for now but I'll be back later in the the week with another card and some exciting news. Thanks for stopping by...enjoy your day!

Both of these cards are so precious! What great school is out cards. I remember those days as if it were yesterday. The painting that your granddaughter did is a perfect likeness to the famous Claude Monet's. I hope your son and daughter-in-law encourage her to pursue her talent!

Great School's Out cards, Kelly! School's out already? Leave it to you to come up with such precious cards for your grandkids...they are so lucky! How many other kids get "school's out" cards?! And oh, my, it's apparent that your grandaughter got gramma's incredible creative and artistic talent...her Monet rendition was absolutely beautiful!
