Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a great New Year weekend! We had a wonderful weekend but especially great New Year's Day. We were invited to my sister-in-laws for a traditional New Year's dinner...anytime I can get away with not cooking is great BUT it was exceptional! We ate SO much, we didn't dare get on the scale Saturday morning! Here is a little thank you card I made for them. The picture doesn't show the true colors, the paper and owls are really much bolder in real life. I also used clear embossing powder on the eyes and pop dotted them but you can't really tell that either. I know if Kathi is looking in, she is going to say...Why don't you use your Canon SLR instead of that dinosaur of a camera that I use? Well Kathi...I'm waiting for you to give me lessons on how to use it...LOL!

Happy New Year Kelly! Sounds like you had a really great day. Your card is beautiful, the owls are so cute. As for the SLR, just pick it up and have a play, that's what I did and have never looked back. But as the others have said they still look better in person.
