Your Special Day

Good Morning! Today's card is SO simple. Don't you just love cards that are quick and easy but they look like you spent time on them? The picture really doesn't do it justice, for whatever reason, I just could not get the lighting right. It is basically paper piecing that has been heat embossed with silver embossing powder and Cuttlebug textile texture embossing folder. The swirl stamped image on the left is from Inkadinkado, the flower image in the middle is from Studio G that I had gotten at Michael's for a buck and the Your Special Day image is from Stampabilities. I added some 2mm crystal gemstones and a bow. It just doesn't get much simpler than that! It could be used for birthday, wedding, congratulation...anything that would be considered a special day. Thanks for stopping by and if you haven't already, please sign my guestbook...or better yet sign up to be a follower so you don't miss any of my creations. See you next time...hope you have a GREAT day!

  7. Hi Eunice---
I was really pleased with the way the card turned out and it was super simple. I used Stampendous detail silver embossing powder. I've never had much luck with heat embossing until I bought the embossing buddy. It really made a difference.

    Hugs :)

  8. I was going to ask the same questions about the embossing powder. I also wonder what ink you used. Your card is beautiful!
