Happy Birthday Dad

Happy Monday Everyone! Thank you SO much for stopping by...I hope you had a fabulous weekend! We didn't do much except hang out but we had gorgeous weather on Saturday, but then Sunday the rains came. Gosh, it seems like we can't get more than 1 day in a row of gorgeous weather! Here's a card I made for my father in law's 92nd birthday. I used the Happy Birthday Dad printable stamp set from The Cutting Cafe for both the circle word and the sentiment. I have such a tough time doing "guy cards" so for the good or bad of it...here it is---
Here is the recipe---
Card Size:A2
Stamp/Image: Cutting Cafe-Happy Birthday Dad
Nestibilities: Circle, Scallop
Spellbinders: Tags 5
Cuttlebug: Vintage Corners Die, Babyface Alphabet Die
Accessories: Ribbon, Brad, Embroidery Floss, Foam Pop Dots

That's it for today, thanks for stopping by. Until nexy time...enjoy your day!

  2. This is a great card Kelly. I love the different shades of blue, it goes nicely with the DP. Your stitching adds a nice touch too. Why is it that we have such trouble when it comes to making cards for men?

what a great surprise! I totally forgot about the card being part of your win with the printable stamps from the Cutting Cafe..
the stamps come so quick over the net. This card is lovely and will be displayed along with Jeannie's and Joy's.
I have been looking for sleeves like the one this is in for awhile now.
where did you find them? Would look much nicer than zip lock bags.
    thanks again,
