I'm Going To Be The Grandma Of TWINS!

I'm still in a state of shock! Last night we got together with both of my sons and their families. It was so nice to have everyone together. I have really missed that since my oldest son has moved away. It has been 3 years now but seems a lot longer. As we were finishing up with dinner, my 3 year old grandson made the announcement that his mommy was going to have 2 babies! I knew that my son and daughter in law were going to be trying to have another baby but I thought he was referring to himself as one of the babies! When she asked if we understood what he was saying, I said that I thought so, that she was going to have another baby. My grandson set us straight by saying that she had 2 babies in her belly. They wanted to wait until we had gotten home to make the announcement so everyone was told at the same time but because you can't tell a 3 year old to keep a secret, we were the first to know. I am thrilled but still in a state of shock! They will be leaving to go back to Orlando this morning and we will be leaving tomorrow. We have had a a wonderful trip and will be taking our time going back making a few stops along the way. I am hopeful to be back crafting by mid week so be sure to stop back.

    Oh Kelly, that's wonderful, congratulations.
    My two grandchildren are almost adult, 14 and 16 years old.

    Congrats!!! Our first grand kids were twin boys, now 12, so she has her work cut out for her but still what a blessing!

    Congratulations Kelly, what a lovely surprise, double the trouble eh! Enjoy whilst they are small, they all grow up one day and on the whole too quickly. I think the speed they grpw up at gets quicker and quicker, they are not littles long enough - or at least not in my opinion!

    Congradulations Kelly, double the fun. We just became grandparents for the second time just last week. Now I have 2 grandson's, one 7 months old and the other 1 week old. I love it.

    Congrats! What exciting news...you must be in heaven..so happy for you and your family...a double blessing! I had identical twin aunts...my x had identical twin uncles and I took fertility drugs...I wanted twins so badly and even with all that only one at a time...LOL...but 4 wonderful blessings...i'm just so thrilled for you!

    Congratulations, Kelly. How fun! I thought I wanted twins the first time I was expecting. I had them, just 10 1/2 months apart. I don't know how many times I used to get asked if they were twins.
